Once you have acquired the ability to concentrate in ambient noise, you may find it surprisingly difficult to work from a quiet home. This is an interactive sound generator that will allow Teleworkers to create their ideal work ambience.

Love it! I will definitely put this to good use. Would love to have a "Starbucks Coffee Shop" preset or profile also. I thrive in busy and active settings and truly hate the quiet and solitude of my home office. I will be using this app all the time! Thank you!

Good idea although it says internal server error. Hope you don’t stream the audio from your own server otherwise few people could be enough to bring it down

Holy shit I completely forgot about this!!! The day I discovered MyNoise I spent about 3 hours not working and instead customizing sounds and sharing many presets with specific people 😋 simply amazing what you’ve done with this. Glad I came across it again.

There are also iOS and Android apps that allow you to use the generators offline (app dev here @nsmustache on twitter)

I've used this site for many years and often pair sounds such as fireplace, thunderstorm, or cafe with some chill music to create a calm ambience for working. I like how you can change the individual sliders to mix and match specific sounds.
