@aashnisshah Thanks for all your collaboration and support, Aashni! "Ease" and "Maintenance" don't always go together, and we're here to change that. Always looking for feedback from people who love their cars! 🚗🚗🚗

@erich_ko93 Thanks, Erich, for taking MyRide901 for a test drive and providing your feedback! 🚗🚗🚗 Many people told us they needed a accessible solution for keeping track of all their vehicle information. What better way than having it instantly accessible from your phone? Thanks for your support!

Launch day, here we go!!!
Victor W. von Buchstab
@jedtalks Hey Alex - Thanks for that! We're pretty chuffed.😁 If you have any feedback on MyRide901, let us know!

🚀 It's our launch day and the MyRide901 team is super excited to be here on Product Hunt! 🚀 Has this ever happened to you? You take your car in to be serviced, and the technician says something like, “Your front brake rotors need to be replaced. You’re looking aaattt… $320 before taxes.” You think, ‘Didn’t I just replace the brake rotors when I was here six months ago? Or was it the rear brake rotors they replaced…’ You remember getting an invoice… Now if you could only remember where you put it… What if you had that invoice with you now, as you stand in front of the service counter. What if you could access it instantly from your pocket or handbag… you could check your last invoice… you could share it with the technician. Our reality is we lead busy lives • We stuff receipts, invoices and maintenance notes in file folders or the glove box; • We can’t remember when we last replaced the brake rotors… or changed the oil… or replaced the timing belt… or… • Sharing our vehicles’ service history with others—a mechanic or someone who wants to buy our vehicle, for example—is manual and time-consuming MyRide901 is a mobile app that solves this problem by creating a maintenance profile for your vehicle, and organizing it on a shareable timeline • Captures and manages vehicle maintenance notes, images, and documents as Service Events for your vehicle • Organizes Service events for each vehicle on an intuitive timeline that you control, regardless of where your vehicle is maintained • Shares your Service Event timeline with potential buyers, appraisers, and service technicians—even if they do not have the app—allowing them to view or update Service Events. Key Features ✅ Next Service Lookup tells you what service should be performed based on your vehicle’s mileage ✅ Share your vehicle’s maintenance timeline with potential buyers, mechanics, appraisers, etc.—even if they don’t have the app ✅ About My Ride virtual pocketbook helps you remember key information about your vehicle (e.g. what oil to use when topping up (or buying on sale)) ✅ Online Accident Report for capturing all accident details and photos at the scene and emailing them to your insurance company ✅ 2GB cloud storage for attaching receipts, documents and photos in multiple file formats including JPG/PNG/MP3/MP4/PDF/XLS/DOC ✅ No Ads ✅ Track service history for up to 10 vehicles, each with its own timeline Take MyRide901 for a 14-day free test drive by downloading an iOS or Android version today!

Provenance is "...a verifiable, documented history of the events in the vehicle’s life, from the time it rolled off the assembly line (or even earlier, when the serial numbers were assigned) to present day." When we were searching for problems that we wanted to solve with MyRide901, we spoke with people in the insurance industry who told us provenance (verifiable provenance) is super important to many collectors, certainly increases value, and proves the history of the vehicle. MyRide901 is the perfect tool for demonstrating provenance because it stores the events of a vehicle's history, along with documents, videos, images, etc. on a timeline saved in the cloud. Vehicle owners can then share the timeline with appraisers, insurers and buyers to demonstrate provenance.

Although I'm not a serious gear head, I appreciate the fact that all the files can be kept in one place and shared among different garages so I am not getting taken for a "ride". It'll also make it much easier to sell my car when the time comes as I can share all the service records!
Victor W. von Buchstab
@graydonlau - Thanks for this. When we were building MyRide901, we had to keep reminding ourselves that it couldn't be just for vehicle enthusiasts; the UI had to make sense to people who just want to get control over all the information for their vehicles. So, we brought in an experienced UX/UI team to make capturing, accessing and sharing receipts, and files painless. Glad to hear this seems to be your experience. Your point about making it easier to sell is bang on. What's the question we all get asked when we are selling our vehicle? That's right--"Do you have the repair history?" Without MyRide901, you need to dig out your file folder stuffed with receipts (assuming you are home and can access them; and assuming you can remember where the file folder is); then, you have to figure out how to get the receipts to the prospective buyer--hmmm... scan them and attach them to an email? Dropbox/Google Docs (assuming they are comfortable using these)? With MyRide901, you just need their email address. Then, you share your vehicle service timeline (complete with all the notes, receipts, images and videos you have attached) to that email. The prospective buyer clicks on the link in the email they receive, and your vehicle timeline, along with all the notes and attachments, opens in their browser. Oh, and if they have questions, they can chat with you via instant messaging. Is my enthusiasm showing? Thanks again for the feedback @graydonlau

Great app for storing and streamlining access to your automobiles maintenance and repair info. Essential information available when you need it!
Victor W. von Buchstab
@h_j5 Thanks for that, H J - We spent a lot of time talking to people to get input on what problems we needed to solve to make MyRide901 useful. Having essential information about peoples' vehicles at their fingertips was a request we heard a lot; in response, we built the About My Ride feature, which is a virtual pocketbook that helps you remember key information about your vehicle, such as what oil to use when topping up. Thanks for joining the ride--and keep the feedback coming!
Brandon Herdman
Being quite the car enthusiast myself, and fortunate enough be a part of the beta testing, I have nothing but amazing and positive things to say about this platform. I have always taken notes, kept details, tried to remember dates surrounding maintenance, performance upgrades, service checks, etc and this app LITERALLY does all that for you in such a clean and organized way. You’re able to record everything you’ve done to your vehicle! Allowing you to look back and ensure you’re on time, not doubling up services, and on time for future services. Truly a modern and clean way to stay organized and on top of taking care of your vehicle.

@brandon_herdman - Hey Brandon, Thanks for this awesome feedback and for climbing on board for the ride as a beta tester! We could not have made it this far without the feedback from beta testers like yourself. The road tip is just beginning! Looking forward to your continued input and guidance as a long-time car enthusiast.
Zenora Saroop
@brandon_herdman You are so right! I thought I was the only delinquent who paid twice for the same service!!
Zenora Saroop
Congratulations on a very well thought out product! I hear you @Brandon. Been there too. Love the sharing feature on this App. If I did take that trip to VA, I would have been sharing all that beautiful foliage with my friends on MyRide901 :) Oh, I love the blogs tooo. Do keep those tips coming; my car thanks you too.
Victor W. von Buchstab
@brandon @zenora_saroop ✨ Thanks, @zenora_saroop ! Funny thing is, while we did a lot of thinking about it, the direction came from drivers and riders like you (maybe we should have called it YOURRide901 🤣😁😂! The vehicle timeline was designed around the concept of capturing and managing Service Events... and using it to store images and videos from road trips to create a hybrid timeline with EVERYTHING about your vehicle--brilliant! I'll take that bake to our amazing team in the engine room... maybe you're onto something that needs to go on our roadmap. Thanks for investing some of your time with us!

This App will save time and money spent in a garage, especially if you do not have experience in mechanics. Also, I love the fact that you can keep your car history on your phone.
Victor W. von Buchstab
Thanks for this, @ltchoketch Time and money are valuable commodities--for mechanics as well as vehicle owners. We believe having all the information about your car's history easily accessible from your phone will lead to more meaningful discussions between vehicle owner and the technicians that service their vehicles. Thanks again for your comment!
Robert Blair
MyRide901 should be downloaded on everyone’s phones! One central location to track your car repairs, tire usage, oil changes and more makes a lot of sense. I use a couple of mechanics and do not currently know when scheduled maintenance is due. With MyRide901 I am looking forward to managing my car maintenance so my vehicle lasts longer and costly repairs are avoided!
Victor W. von Buchstab
@robert_blair1 - Thanks for that! I used to take my out-of-warranty Passat to a mechanic that always asked me to bring along receipts from work that had been done previously. Then, he would spend time going through the receipts to become familiar with what work had been done previously and then going online to look up what work should be done next. With MyRide901, I can check what service should be done myself, add it to my timeline, and then share my timeline with my mechanic so he is prepared when I show up at his garage. Send any suggestions our way as you use the app; we're always looking for ways to improve it!
Aval Barochia
It was a Nice app, Easy to use, highly informative, and beautiful graphics design.
Victor W. von Buchstab
@aval_barochia - Thanks for your comment. Interestingly, a lot of the feedback we get is around the great UX/UI the team was able to pull off. We believe it's one of the areas that sets us apart from the competition.
