Howdy PHers, Matt here! I’m really pleased to share with everyone a radically better way to do WordPress. WordPress is the platform of choice for over 40% of the web. Its flexibility, its community, its ecosystem, its ability to empower websites of any and all types have fuelled incredible growth. Managed WordPress, a way of hosting WordPress without the usual hosting hassle has also significantly grown in popularity. Webmasters like being able to focus on building in WordPress and not configuring hosting, or using dated control panels. Unfortunately, Managed WordPress has typically been a lot more expensive than traditional web hosting. Here’s where EasyWP comes in. EasyWP is a next generation Managed WordPress from your friends at Namecheap. We’ve built it from the ground up on top of our own Cloud platform. This means it delivers a full Managed WordPress experience but at a fraction of the usual market price. By taking the hard road and building our own cloud, on our own hardware, in our datacentres this means we’re not paying the public cloud “tax” that you get with AWS/GCP. Most other Managed WordPress providers are built on public cloud, so have a much higher cost base. EasyWP offers an incredibly quick and intuitive way to get started with WordPress and it takes less than 60 seconds to launch your first site. And, today, we’re really proud to launch it on ProductHunt and share with all of you. Let me let you into a little secret though. EasyWP is actually 4 years old, having launched back in 2017. We’ve spent this time perfecting our Cloud to deliver 100% uptime and best in class performance. EasyWP as a product has also grown, and we’ve recently opened it up to everyone by offering free trials across all of our plans. And that’s why we are here on Product Hunt today, inviting you to try it completely free of charge. By doing this we are aiming to democratize Managed WordPress. It is our firm desire to make a true Managed WordPress service available and affordable to all. Our pricing will always put value first. “Why is EasyWP so cheap?” and “Is there something wrong with it?”. Far from it. We’re on a mission to bring Managed WordPress to the masses and put value before profit. And we’re able to do this because we’ve built our own, state-of-the-art Cloud from the ground up. At Namecheap, consumer choice always remains top of mind. Not only do we staunchly support the online rights of every citizen but we also stay committed to the strictest data security and privacy policies around. These beliefs are inherently woven into EasyWP, meaning we take a “no walled garden” approach to our offering. In other words, if a customer decides to up and cancel their subscription, we won’t become a hindrance. We respect their decision and we make it easy to own and migrate their data. EasyWP WordPress sites are managed via the dashboard. Users and creators enjoy a holistic overview of all of their WordPress sites. A single pane of glass to view the status, health and key statistics will gives the easiest, quickest way to understand what is going on across all of their sites. Gone are the days of having to log in to individual control panels, servers or more. Time is money, and a better way to manage the fleet is to see it all at once. Our dashboard is the hub for everything WordPress related. It continues to grow and evolve with new functionalities frequently released. We’d love to see you onboard, so come and give us a try. All of our monthly plans are free for the first month. 2021 is going to be exciting. A word on the future Our hard work doesn’t stop here. Infact, we’re still very much in startup/build mode. We have a lot of exciting enhancements and features planned for EasyWP. As a teaser for some of the things we’re currently working on: -Improved backups and backup management -Usage and visitor stats in your dashboard -Staging and development area with easy push to live functionality We are also in the early stages of working on additional international locations allowing you to host EasyWP from more global locations. So stay tuned. This is going to be an exciting ride! P.S. An enormous thank you to @chrismessina for hunting us!

Congrats on the launch! This can help a lot of small businesses looking for an easier way to launch and maintain a WP site.
Graham Wood
@acrylic_noons this was one of our key motivating factors in creating EasyWP, to make WordPress accessible and affordable to everyone, especially small businesses.
Imran Hussain
I had used this more than a year ago and wouldn't recommend it due to the issues they had.
Graham Wood
@imran_hussain1 What were the issues that you had? Really keen to hear your feedbback. If it was more than a year ago that you tried it, then I can assure you that we have made a lot of improvements and added tons of features since then.

How many Websites will be hosted on one server? So is this comparable to Kinsta e.g.?
Matt Russell
@thementalist Each website gets its own container; the concept of servers and websites per server isn't really relevant with the cloud architecture that we've built. A website having its own containers guarantees it resources, performance and resilience -- if hardware fails or needs maintenance, our cloud platform simply recreates the container elsewhere in milliseconds. It is considerably more advanced than most of the competition out there :)

UPDATE from the EasyWP bunker. WordPress Hosting Performance Benchmarks for 2021 are in and we're a winner baby! EasyWP has been awarded a Top Tier star. See what they had to say here: https://wphostingbenchmarks.com/...

Considering how used WordPress is, this product will be very useful. I also like how much work was put into data privacy and the freedom of the customer. Great work, EasyWP team!

Cláudio Cigarro

Nick ARVRTips
What is your pricing for over 500,000 visitors per month? Do you have more technical specifications for your plans I could compare on (RAM etc)? I use digitalocean currently but am interested.
Graham Wood
@nick_arvrtips Hi there all of our pricing plans are here: https://www.namecheap.com/wordpr... currently our yearly Supersonic plan (over 500,000 visitors per month) is on promotion to with 50% off at $49.88/yr.
Matt Russell
@nick_arvrtips @graham_wood79 and Supersonic has 1.2GB RAM (bear in mind this is per container, not per VM -- containers are much leaner than VMs)
Vivek
Many use wordpress, this is a nice solution for wordpress deployment.
Graham Wood
@vivekweb2013 Thanks for the kind words. Hope you try it for yourself and we'd love to hear your feedback
Gary Brighton
Not great so far, logging into the admin area and the site crashes regularly , often a 500 server error. Need improving as you are charging a fee to users.
Gary Brighton
@jay_janarthanan1 Shall I screen cast my experience in real time and show you ?
Gary Brighton
@jay_janarthanan1 another thing, adding the partner cdn can also be a bit of a nightmare. and also issues issuing ssl certs.
Matt Russell
@jay_janarthanan1 @garyuk sorry to hear of issues Gary. please try our live support, or drop me a note matt[at]namecheap.com and I'll be happy to help
Gary Brighton
@jay_janarthanan1 @mattdrussell Thanks Matt, I must add I have faith in your product, possibly teething issues, which are expected.
Matus
Great marketing site. Unfornately, it's still a WordPress, it just make a better user experience and still "tax" the same amount of electricity.
Matt Russell
@createmapmap we aim to elevate the WordPress experience and take away any of those traditional hosting pain points
Matus
Is it 99.9% Uptime (in ProductHunt) or 99.99% Uptime (On NameCheap), there is a big differece.
Matt Russell
@createmapmap we guarantee a baseline 99.9% across all plans, extending to 99.99% for the Supersonic Plan
Ковальчук Владимир
Oh, I like this! Congrats on launch, can I have got a free trial to test this staff?
Graham Wood

It all depends on what kind of site you want to make. Whatever the service can recommend will depend on your target audience and your needs. However, I can tell you that since EasyWP is a managed WordPress site provider, they have a very comprehensive service offering that includes managed WordPress sites, managed WPML sites, managed databases, executed scripts, managed templates, managed site extensions, and managed CMS. Check out the video linked, and it would be very nice to find this on the list of your services.
