Native Leaf — The first REAL hemp wrap

Hey Hunters! My name is Sid Quitorio, the CEO and Founder of Native Leaf Co. 👋 I’m so excited to launch the market’s first REAL hemp wrap and completely revolutionize what it means to smoke natural for my cannabis loving PH community! For as long as we can remember, the only options for rolling our herb was either hemp paper (native to the plant, but not natural) or natural non-hemp wraps (natural - but not native). It was pretty clear to me that something obvious was missing - hemp leaf wraps. It was so obvious that I really thought to myself why it hadn’t been done before. We’ve spent the last two years researching, harvesting and testing thousands of hemp leaves to get the most natural and most importantly, most native smoking experience. For the first time ever, cannabis enthusiasts can purchase whole-leaf hemp wraps that are hand-picked straight from the plant they love. We’re on a mission to put an end to diluting cannabis! This is the plant we love. Let’s start acting like it! 🥳 The hunt was on. My team and I spent an entire year calling nearly every hemp farm in America in search of the perfect leaves. Only a few farms out there really had the specifications we were in search of, so we packed up a couple big white vans filled with our team and drove around the country handpicking fan leaves. I know what you’re thinking, but don’t fret, no cannabis plants were harmed in the making of Native Leaf. 😉We only take the fan leaves that would typically be discarded, making our process completely sustainable. We could have stopped there and brought the market the most natural hemp wrap.. But we wanted to take it further. After individually inspecting each leaf, we slow-cure them in small batches for 30 days at a time using only nature’s elements (air and water). This process converts the starches within the hemp leaf into sugars, allowing for effortless inhales and the smoothest smoke. Through our slow-cure method, we’re able to naturally remove the chlorophyll, a pigment that gives the leaf its natural green color, but adds a harsh, grass-like taste. Once the pigment is removed, you’re able to taste nothing but the terpenes present in your herb - unlocking its full flavor. The amount of time and effort production took on these leaves was crazy. 30 day slow cured is something you'd never hear from a processed wrap company. It was a pleasure working on this project, this is the new era of natural wraps!
