@paulinetordeur this looks awesome, but I don't like that you have to ask for a quote. could you give some insight as to how the pricing works, is it based on number of employees and is it a flat monthly fee etc? i could see this being something that i'd recommend to some companies i work with, but would need an idea as to how the pricing works first.
Hi @_jacksmith ! The pricing isn't displayed on our website because it depends on what the company wants to achieve with Hivy :) But you nailed it, we charge a flat fee per month or per year depending on the size of your company (we try to stay close to 1$/employee/month). Actually, I remember we talked a while ago about Hivy as you said you had started something similar at Vungle! You have my email ;), feel free to directly intro me to some companies!
Looks very promising! Office management is often neglected in SMBs, because it's inherently hard to keep track of every little issue. It makes so much sense to move all this complexity in an app!
Site looks quite nice, but as far as I can tell it's just a glorified to do list? Appears to be similar to Trello too (which is free). Would be cool to have an app for our facilities team though.
Hello hunters,
Iβm Pauline, the CEO of Hivy. Hivy is part of the YC Winter 2017 batch. Huge thanks @Sama for hunting us!
We want to make offices a better place by ensuring employees have everything they need to feel comfortable and work efficiently. Need beers for your Friday Happy Hour? Dreaming of the latest nerf gun? Send your order from our desktop app, your office iPad, or directly in Slack knowing that it will be taken care of by your office manager.
We decided to build Hivy because every team in a company has a tool, except the office management team. Hivy is the first platform specifically designed to help them collect their employeesβ orders, collaborate on projects, and purchase everything they need to keep the office running. Great companies like Slack, Typeform, Seatgeek, and Gigster already use Hivy in their offices!
Forward this to your Office Manager, we take care of the rest:) In the meantime, weβd love to hear your feedback and happy to answer any question!
@paulinetordeur@sama How did you get those great companies (Slack, Typeform, etc) on board? Not sure how long you guys have been around, but that is really impressive that you got those big names on board! π
@james_osullivan@xlntec It's the result of hard work from our entire team π and also that we follow @sama 's advice to make something people want! We're very luck to have these awesome companies as customers and they help us improve our product everyday!
