I love Amazon's X-Ray feature so I built a chrome extension on similar lines for Netflix, Netflix Lens.
You can see the cast, songs, trivia of the movie/episode you're watching. You can also:

While watching things I'll recognize actors or voice actors and I just can't seem to place where I know them from. I have to pause it to look it up or I'll miss what's happening because I get lost in the "where do I know them from?" thought. Seems like a great product, can't wait to give it a try.
