Screeny is a simple & tiny utility app that helps you make some space on your phone by finding and deleting screenshots cluttering up your camera roll. With a single tap, it scans through your Camera Roll and displays the screenshots it finds, along with how much space they’re utilizing. You can tap to select the ones you want to delete and hit the delete button. That’s it.

Just brilliant. I remember having a chat with one of the creators of this idea a few months ago. It's nearly perfect. Missing some important features. Hope they can nail it. I still can't believe that apple whose focus on photos is so important has not nailed that screenshots should not be part of the camera roll
@OurielOhayon yes we were speaking on twitter long back also (iOS7) about "is there a simple way to delete all my screenshots" but yeah iOS8 changed the game. We are working on keeping it as simple as possible, but yes sorting through screenshots was a little painful before.
Just an option to compress them would also be cool! Is it there already? (android guy here and I need that!)
@srikrishnang not compressing it yet. Will look into it though. Android has a separate section for screenshots right.
@sonaal yup. but compressing all screen shots in one tap would be amazing even on android. the problem that these screenshots take up space is universal!
I still get timehop notifications of screenshots taken back at my PlayHaven days. I used to take snapshots of mobile games for research. :) cc @jwegener
Feature request: send them to a dropbox folder. I usually take shots for research and don't need them on my fone but would like to store them easily.
Solving a really big problem for iOS devs and start-ups and worked brilliantly for me. Well done @sonaal.
