@sliver86 Well, best of luck. It's hard for blockchain projects to get adoption from mainstream users, but it would be great if it succeeded.
The concept is truly amazing. I remember when I first heard about it in 2017, and thought that the idea of an app that pays you for your life quite crazy. Very interesting to see how Nimses managed to mature over these years.

@victor_strelbitsky Well Mr COO of nimses... are you happy with this new state of nimses (filled with NSFW content posted by kids)? are you happy with the reviews you've been getting recently in both play store and iOS app store? This update was something that nobody asked for and yet it's so important to you while you keep CONFIDENTIAL and silent the things we so ask for nimses goods and exchange. I was really excited for the future of this app but you guys are playing ball. This update is embarrassing.

@joshdance what generated is nims. every user gets one nim for 1 minute of one's life from the moment of registration. users spend nims to post content, spend nims to appreciate content and interact with each other and the community in many different ways. All interactions are reflected in nim transactions, and that all is running on blockchain technology.
Nothing has changed from the previous releases, incomprehensible product concept with new monetization.

So awesome to see how we get reported for nothing the entire time and even get warning that i will lose my account just because i'm big and have a lot of followers that spamm report... So awesome to see that if i report something i have to pay cause everything is okay!? but if i post i get almost banned?! This app is a joke guys!!!
So nice to see that the feed is getting filled more and more with people telling that they are deleting the app cause it's worthless now ...
No asked for this update and it was hated by most its definitely a step back. While the stuff we do actually want its kept quiet. This is shameful.
PLLEASE stop this showcast madness people are just spamming random pics on my showcast so they can watch it for free and my profile is getting spammed with random stuff ...........

All I can say is that only time will show us for how much are u able to buy your coffee. I feel it will become something more that just local platform. Rules are changing and become more and more interesting. A lot of new stuff u will explore only here! I’m not sure but as for me I know only few platforms like socials who really pays. In case if money is more important for you than another value( food, cloth, accessorize) than u need to wait. For how long?- just take a look at Amazon stock market. Only those who can wait will have all they want. All the information they’ve provided was thru. Things u r able to buy for nims’re real. And as for me for the past 2 years it has changed very much! In a better way! Prices become lower. Quality better. Income higher. More places. Real people. Just follow the rules and get your benefits on time! And buy the way it can make you qualified in finance. So basically I do like it! Waiting for Mark! I don’t know who is he but I definitely have to follow this guy or who is he... stay tuned

The latest update of Nimses to focus only on Showcast is not a sound strategy. It was a premature decision to launch the update, and was not cognizant nor empathetic to the needs of the community or audience. I personally love the product, and strongly supports it, that's why it makes me sad and frustrated that the developer and management team seem to be unconcerned, and continues to ignore the plea of the users of Nimses. There are many other items that nimses should have focused on e.g. fixing the bugs in the app, making the app more efficient and user friendly, fixing the aesthetics of showcast, etc.
Right now, nimses has lost its control over the content thats uploaded by users via showcast. All we see now are uncensored contents that are most NSFW, and the reporting mechanism is bugged. Tried to use it several times, but of no avail.
Please help us love nimses again by listening to your community. Consult us first before doing a major update. Dont make us feel that you dont care. I still believe on your vision, and will continue to support you, but right now, i will dedicate my passion to waking you up by sending a strong message of rebuke.

I would like to share my experience with nimses.
I have been following this application for 2 years now and have been actively involved in its development. This concept has an infinite potential, I use it as a payment system with various service providers and it is invested a little more than 1000 €.
However, it suffers from 2 major problems
> the quality of the content present. Nimses currently looks more like a soft porn site than a community network. This is particularly detrimental to its credibility for use as a payment platform.
> the quality of customer support. This is the major problem. Their operator is absolutely unable to properly identify a problem and even more unable to respond to it. Here are 2 examples.
- in accordance with their general conditions, request for access to the processing of our personal data.
Request made on 07/09/2018. No answer. 3 reminders respectively on 10/10/2018; 10/11/2018; 10/12/2018. No response, however, the GDPR requires a return to this type of request within 30 days. A report to the CNIL was made.
- Technical access problem
Currently when I try to open the application, it closes instantly. I have been trying to solve this issue with support for more than a week. The latter are totally incompetent with answers such as "Upon checking with our tech team. A successful login attempt detected recently on your iPhone XS Max iOS 12.3.1. Thank you for contacting us. Your request has been successfully processed"
the problem (which still persists at the time of writing) is not about the connection to the account which is going very well but about the unexpected closure of the application....
This problem makes me lose 150K Ⳅ / 3 days.
I wanted to write this article to share with you the reality of users regarding this application. In summary here are the points to remember and some advice for use
> High-potential concept
> Do not have any problems (which is complicated due to the many bugs) because customer support is INEFFECTIVE.
> Do not invest money in it, the product is not efficient enough for that.
I strongly advise you to try this application without taking it seriously. At least until the current team "wakes up" or even better, a conccurent takes up the concept and makes it a product that holds up.

Can someone explain me where the normal posts went and why there is only showcast now?
And is it ok to share a nimses link here to get more invites? ... isn't that against the rules?
@michael_boes We are betting on this new feature and highlighting this format in the feed. Showcast will have more exciting formats very soon.
@victor_strelbitsky Betting on showcasts is litterally the worst idea ever. there are multiple problems:
1. Your profile isn't personal anymore. (it's getting filled with other people's posts.)
2. People are just spamming random photos in the showcasts. (so they get a chance on a percentage of the nims and to get free access to the whole showcast)
3. You don't have control over what photos people add to your showcast. People can add whatever photo, even if it has nothing to do with the "theme" of the showcast.
4. The whole concept of nimming posts is ruined now, there is no possibility to add nims to a showcast to show your appreciation, except for a donation, which is 1000 nims... and the 50 nims you HAVE to pay just to watch a showcast.
5. Also you should be able to add a title to your showcast instead of that it shows the text that the last person typed at their post in the showcast.
6. For new users it is too difficult. They have to watch an ad everytime to watch 2 showcasts, as the access to a showcast costs 50 nims, which is a lot for new users.
Thanks for destroying the whole content of the app. The content now exists for more than 80% of "half naked" girls, hentai porn and memes. At least one of the contents has survived is still okay, but this is pretty pityful.
And to confirm that I am not the only one who thinks these things, the feed on the Nimses app is getting filled with people writing text posts that says "wtf is this update"...
@victor_strelbitsky to prove that your profile can't be personal anymore, a friend of mine is a photographer and he wanted to post a few of his photos on nimses, he can't do this in a showcast because people are just adding random shit to it... Another friend of mine is a dj, he also can't promote his music because of the showcasts. I get why you guys want to bet on showcasts because other apps don't have that. But basing the entire app on only showcasts is the worst idea, it is a nice addition but it should just be an optional feature of the app, next to posting normal posts. I think you have to have control over what other people are adding to your showcast, you should choose if you want to allow the post to be added to it or not.
