Nokia 2720 Flip — The classic flip is back with 4G

A flip phone with Google Assistant is genius. And 28 days of standby time from a single charge? Daaaamn!

I've been a Nokia 5.1 user for about 3 months and gotta say, Nokia make a pretty slick phone. The only thing I don't like? No push notifications from apps. Which is basically a deal-breaker. Apparently a known-issue introduced with buggy battery saving system apps in a February update, and even though I recognise this is running a different OS, the fact that there hasn't been a fix for such a fundamental feature would make me pretty reluctant to get another Nokia device.

I think I would love it if it had a full QWERTY keyboard. No way I am going back to texting in that numeric keyboard again! Plus, nobody really dials a phone number anymore. we look up names in contacts. Definitely for a phone keyboard, letters are now more important than numbers.

It’s so difficult to innovate on design and form factor in such a saturated market as smartphones that even resuscitating the dead seems like a viable option. It’s cute and all but, regretfully, it isn’t. I dare you to drop your flagship iPhone or Android for a flip phone for real.

Interesting to see if KaiOS will get the needed developer attention to be a true day-to-day phone. WhatsApp and Facebook are surely important to get people to actually use it.

I figured we'd eventually move back to a smaller talk/text device designed to simply provide www connection for productivity and full comms devices. Fun to see it happening!

I absolutely agree with others that Google Assistant makes this phone genius! Not everyone needs to build large 1000$ smartphones and that is great

i have a nokia bar phone i bought for ~$15 (1010 rupees) in India that works with my US sim. I love it. lasts a week on a charge and has snake. my high score is 3054

Omg omg now dont get me wrong I absolutely love my Note 8, but a flip phone comeback - damn. I loved my flip phones and have wanted another, ugh. My Motorola Razor was my all time fav.

Brilliant but seriously could do with FB being integrated. If I’m going to move to a bare bones phone I don’t want the app that helped start all the nonsense.

PLEASE, nowhere is information about notification of whatsapp - I would like to know, if small secondary display can show notification about incoming whatsapp mesage. Does anybody know, if this phone is showing info about new whatsapp mesage ON SMALL outer display? Thank you for more detailed info. :-) Have a nice time.
