🌟Hey PH fam, We are stoked to show you what we have been working on for some time now. Nooble stands on three pillars - audio, short-form content, and community. The audio format attracted us as we saw user behaviour was changing with the success of podcasts. So initially, we built an audio-educational platform where we converted open-source courses from top universities into audio format. However, listeners didn’t want to commit to 1 hour of listening, no matter how interesting the content was. Long audiobooks, podcasts and drop-in conversations in chat rooms left us snoring. There’s no easy way to consume and create audio content. So that’s how the idea for short-form audio was born. And community. We aim to bring the community back to socials. Audio is a space that gives people a chance to connect deeply with their followers. Just unfiltered and authentic conversations, stories and sharing of interesting stuff on the app. This means, no spending hours editing videos and graphics. Just record and go. We believe that everyone can be a creator and each person has something to share with the world, and we want to make that process easy. Give nooble a shot 🏀! Looking forward to your feedback!

@shantanu_garg3 this is awesome shantanu! How would you suggest that Voicover Talent reaches out to potentially add higher quality to these audio shorts ?
Shantanu Garg
Hey @smacklouis, as you pointed out currently the recording quality is basic, however, we are in the process of integrating a few audio API's to improve the sound quality.

What it takes to be a noob ? - Be on nooble #noobsruletheworld
Nooble is for ‘noobs’ - as it is used in its traditional sense, people who are inexperienced. But we view them as people who are deeply interested in learning and enriching themselves, be it, startup founders who are looking for some nifty tricks, broke millennials who want tips on how to manage their personal finance, cricket fans who want an unbiased analysis of the last night’s game, or literature enthusiasts wanting to listen to some poetry. A noob could be anyone who wants to break away from their routine of mindless scrolling and want to get into the world of meaningful conversations and communities.

It's very helpful!

Aaawesome idea, and great tool! ^_^ Congrats on the launch! It gives totally new dimensions to connections via socials! ^_^ Is it possible to comment and share opinions about audios? :))
Manisha Joshi
@maria_brm Not for now, we want to keep it as open and inclusive as possible for creators first. Maybe later :)
Maria
@manisha_joshi1 Cool! Also - good strategy ^_^ I can't wait to try it out and gather first impressions as an official user! ^_^
Manisha Joshi
@maria_brm Thanks! Excited to hear what you think of it!

The idea sounds great. BUT, you can open 1, 2, maybe 3 weird recordings of someone mumbling some words, and you'll probably leave the platform. I think that different to text, you have to hear it to understand what's there (over skimming through text). Skipping through voice is almost impossible. I think you should really address that/
Shantanu Garg
Hey @ofir_rabanian, fair point! This is why all clips on the platform have a title which tells u what is in the audio short. You can first read the title and then decide to hear it or skip it. Also, all the clips are <3 mins which could be heard at upto 2X speeds making it easier to consume over longer texts. Give it a shot here: https://app.nooble.xyz/hashtag?h... would love to get more feedback!! :)
Steve Procter
interesting idea. so it it like Clubhouse?
Manisha Joshi
@steveprocter The only thing common is audio. Other than that, we're not live, we're async, and based on short-form, that is 3-minute clips, not hour-long conversations. So more like Reddit/Tiktok than CH. (oh and thanks for the share!)
Steve Procter
@manisha_joshi1 interesting. how is it moderated?
Shantanu Garg
Hey @steveprocter, currently it is moderated by community admins. Once we hit some scale we might add the ability to auto-mod.
Steve Procter
@shantanu_garg3 understood. I reckon that will become the biggest headache as it scales, but I hope it works well for you. I guess a lot can be learned from Reddit and how each subreddit has moderators, etc.
Manisha Joshi
How do you manage your launch day anxiety fam? Jokes apart, we hope you enjoy the app, and we start a new era of social media together that brings the community back to socials! :)
Sandra Djajic

Congrats on that excellent product! This is one of the best implementations of a voice-centered social network I've come across so far. Deserved way more upvotes in my opinion! Keep up the great work! Can't wait to see what you'll make out of this. 🚀
