After the [vpn scandal](https://techcrunch.com/2019/10/2...) last year, I wouldn't trust them anymore with my data. There are open source apps for this (like https://cryptomator.org/)

@bcye I’ve heard about the breach and after doing some research I’ve concluded that it’s not that big of a deal as no actual data was leaked https://restoreprivacy.com/nordv.... Also, this product seems to be even less susceptible to breaches because it only encrypts your files and doesn’t store any information on the net.

I was interested in keeping my information not only in one place but also hidden from threats, and recently discovered Nordlocker. I only use it for my most important files and I didn’t have to pay a penny yet since 5 GB is normally plenty even for a heavy user. Even though there are some minor ui glitches, generally, I m pretty satisfied with this elementary tool for securing material of any type. Thanks for sharing this hunt..
