Hey PH,
The North team has been hard at work pushing out weekly releases for our early Focals customers. We've always been excited about the idea of using Focals to help anyone nail their presentation more confidently and so we built a new chrome extension to enable you to connect to Google slides. Once you're connected you can control your presentation with your Loop and see speaker notes as they are available hovering right in front of you!

@d0b0 I pre-ordered in Oct 2018 and haven't received any type of update. I'm located in NC which may have something to do with it. Is their a support address I can send an email to? Wasn't in the reservation confirmation email (order #US-1082).
Love seeing Focals grow and all the new features they're adding. Waiting for a pop-up store to come by LA or Tokyo! Also, Google Assistant/Home support would be amazing 🙏
Seems like a great use case for a good product idea. Unfortunately it seems to have a poor buying process. I keep looking at Focals every time they come up and it means:
1. Go to store (I am local fortunately)
2. Pay some % of the cost I guess? Not clear on their website.
3. Wait some amount of time to manufacture. Duration is not clear on their website.
4. Go to store again to pick up
@imatincr we are constantly working on making this process more clear and simplified. Right now we have an 8-10 week delivery period after purchase. Also when you go to pick up your frames we do an adjustment by an Optician to make sure the glasses fit perfectly on your face! So the second visit it's not just for picking up the product but also a fitting 😄session to ensure the best experience possible!
@d0b0 That's all fine, but I would put that info directly on the site to reduce confusion. Also that is too slow of a delivery period for me. I almost wish I could sign up for a notification when this drops to 1-2 weeks. Also, "Refunds, minus a restocking fee, are available within 30-days from the day you ordered Focals." is nice, but if your delivery time is longer than 30 days...? And what is the restocking fee?

Love the idea and looking forward to when my focals arrive to give it a shot! Would love to see a way to use this w/ PPT too, especially at conferences and events where I'm speaking. Much more elegant that a confidence monitor!
Oh no... isn't it enough to sit in front of computers and tablets and phones all day long? Do we really have to place it in front of our eyes?
