I tried Logic Wiz Sudoku before but gave up due to the laggy user interface. Your app appears promising; I hope it continues to improve. P.S. I got rickrolled. 😅

I'm Ashish Selvaraj, the creator of Not Evil Sudoku.
This project stemmed from a frustration with the terrible user experience of most sudoku apps on the App Store today. Many apps had continuous banner ads, video ads between games and some even had video ads every few moves! I'm not against ads at all but the sheer number of them just made the game completely unplayable. I was learning SwiftUI for fun at the time and was sure that I could do better.
The app was released in April 2022 and has gotten over 50,000 installs and seems to have struck a chord with people. I just released version 2.0 which has brought a lot of new features including an iPad app!
The app is free and everyone can play a sudoku puzzle every day without paying a dime. A one-time purchase of $4.99 USD allows for unlimited games, charts to see your progress and much more. And of course, the app is totally ad free.
The app is built almost purely with SwiftUI and supports iOS 15+

@theo_goodman Thanks Theo, I made the app for myself and if it didn’t have dark mode I wouldn’t have been able to use it!
I would not list it as free if it's $4.99 USD
But I love the ad free experience!
