Product Hunters love our Notion. Notion Charts creates a whole new use case that's as fun as it is useful.
@bnchrch Not yet. We'll integrate with Notion databases as soon as it's released.
@william_nutt if data changes in the gsheet, is it updated and fed through to the charts? or do you need to generate a new embed link each time?
@barriematt Thanks Matt. The charts reload with fresh spreadsheet data. However, with Notion's API now live, I recommend using a tool like Zapier to integrate Notion with data visualization tools.
?makers once I make a chart is there a view that allows me to go back and edit it or see all of my charts in one place? Loving the product so far!!

@danny_cohen1 Thanks for the favorable and helpful feedback. We're mostly receiving requests to integrate with other spreadsheet and database tools, so your original idea is especially useful — and one we'll certainly work into the roadmap.
@rolodexter Great question. Lucidchart is a terrific tool that serves a considerably different purpose. While Notion Charts visualizes data through such formats as line graphs and pie charts, Lucidchart is more oriented around diagramming hierarchies, such as company staffs, and journeys, such as a user's path on a website.
Additionally, Lucidchart is a standalone tool, while Notion Charts serves as an extension of Notion.
Any shot we'll ever see this as a dedicated Chrome Extension? or maybe even a further integration with Notion (maybe you've been in contact?!?)
@justin_rockmore Absolutely. We eagerly await the Notion API that will facilitate deeper integration. Stay tuned.

@snow_biker You'll need to regenerate the URL, but you can replace it within the existing Notion block.
How am I supposed to create the bar chart with double variables like the Demo Dashboard of "Open and Click Rates". Please specify the method of how to create each chart you are showing. Thanks
I like the idea a lot. However, requiring the connected google sheet to be public basically makes this unusable for us because we can’t just expose all our internal data :-/
@chapati23 Certainly understood. Depending on the timeline of the Notion API and feedback from other users, we may prioritize protected Google Sheets. Thanks for your input, and stay tuned.
