As a huge Notion fan (I bet many of you are too!), I've always wanted to create those iconic Notion-style avatars. Until now, we had to rely on third-party tools to get that distinctive minimalist look.
Well, the wait is finally over! Notion has officially launched their own avatar creator, and it's exactly what we've been hoping for. You can customize every detail of your avatar with their signature style:

@konrad_sx Hey Konrad you found a crutial part! I've tried with quite a few avatar builders and this looks like an intentional design choice. Getting accessories, hairstyles and facial features to fit perfectly across different head shapes is actually super tricky.
Fixed head shape helps ensure everything aligns properly and looks good together. Maybe AI will make dynamic matching possible in the future, but for now, consistency probably gives the best results.
Just gave Notion Faces a whirl - my Notion workspace got a whole lot more personal! 🎨 Made my avatar in like 2 mins and ngl, the result actually looks like me (which is rare for these tools lol). Super smooth process, and it fits perfectly with Notion's aesthetic. Love that it's official too - no more hacky workarounds!
Big ups to the team for making an effort to create a super fun avatar experience that differentiates you from the competition. I had a blast making my silly mustache face in the notion style...

• Higher Resolution exported image
• Would be nice to be able to upload a photo and have a "Notion Face" generated for you
• Could be fun to have the final face animate with Rive
