@seansong nubi is a play on the words nubes, nubis, nebula and nimbus from latin meaning "cloud".
@kamalkalra Nice, great to know. In Chinese "Niubi" is a special popular and special (even cultural" word.
@seansong I came up with the name in 2009. To be honest, at the time, I wasn't thinking about the cultural sensitivity of it but glad to know that it's not something negative.
@benjaminpolymathologistcom At the moment, nubiDO is strictly a web app. Even the Android "app" is just a wrapper for the web app. Though there is no wrapper app for iOS, you can run nubiDO just fine within mobile Safari and also add it to your home screen to run in full screen mode.
