Congratulations! Obsidian is both an incredibly useful app (it's also a platform). It's also an important app. I’ve worked in the software business for decades and the Obsidian team and community have redefined what’s possible when there is a small world-class team of developers and an unprecedented amount of community involvement.

Obsidian is one of my favorite apps of all time. Been using it for over a year and it is now a solid version 1 even though it's been working great for the last year in very workable betas. The community is very helpful and the community plugins are amazing, I have 51 plugins installed. The tabs and tab stacks really make organizing easy. And the mobile app on my iPad is a very good companion to the desktop app.

If you are a life-long learner, Obsidian might be the thing you always wanted but never knew existed. It is for me.

This app is life-changing. Never been happier to Upvote something here 🥳 As a dev, it helps me organize code snippets and resources. As a creative, it helps me organize research, ideas and inspiration. I also use it for recipes, shopping and packing lists, goals, daily journaling and time-management, vacation planning and tracking places I want to go, keeping track of purchases and licenses, book and video notes, project management, business management, planning for conference talks and blog posts... with everything cross-linked — a connected network of knowledge and ultimate inspiration!! ☀️ Anything I can dream up, I can either do out-of-the-box, or with an add-on. Plus it's so great to be able to create my own add-ons and styling as well. AND, it's so nice to be able to store and back up notes in the manner I choose, and not be locked in to a particular scheme. I can't say enough good things 😆

Looks better now. The only problem with Obsidian is the Sync.

I've been an Obsidian user since Sep2020—It's crazy to see how much it has grown. Out of all of the applications I interact with, Obsidian is by far the most essential to my daily life. I just want to thank the team and community for creating so much damn value to people like myself. Cheers to hitting 1.0!

Happy to receive the version 1.0. I have been using it for a while now and it has become now my primary tool for all thing text - daily journal, meeting notes, idea bank, study notes, etc. Thank you makers for the awesome work.
