We published the first version of OI ConvertCSV pretty much 10 years ago on the Android app store. It was one of our show cases how to add new functionality to our core apps without compromising user privacy and user data. For this app, it was the ability to access the SD card on the phone and thereby export and import the notes and shopping lists. Android and the internet has changed since. I still believe in protecting user privacy and user data and therefore, I am excited that now it is possible to export and import your notes and shopping lists across devices with the work on decentralizing the internet by blockstack.org. The app now allows the user to store their notes and lists on their cloud storage without depending on one single tech company. Accounts and storage is managed by the user and only the user. OpenIntents does not know about any of these user activities. And that is a good thing! No data honey pots, no limits on scaling and more time for me to improve the product and support the users.
