Product and engineering teams use OneSchema to save months of development time building a CSV importer. OneSchema improves customer activation / import completion rates by automatically correcting customer data.
this is fucking wild! We built our own CSV importer for panda.ZooTools.co but honestly it's a pain in the ass and we're thinking to improve It. would be totally happy to test this out. next steps?
@jgferreiro Hi Jorge, thanks for the support! Visit our website and request a demo. You can also email christina@oneschema.co with any questions :)
We look forward to hearing from you.
@kasey_mcdonough Hey! just texted Christina. Is she around today? Would love to move forward asap since we're having some customer complaints with our CSV importer. Thanks!
Hi there Product Hunt - I’m Andrew, co-founder of OneSchema.
OneSchema is an embeddable CSV importer for SaaS companies. Product and engineering teams use OneSchema to save months of development and maintenance time and provide a best-in-class CSV import experience for their customers.
Our product team is laser focused on making data onboarding as fast and seamless as possible for your customers. OneSchema cleans customer data during import, and offers helpful suggestions for resolving errors.
We are a developer-first platform and have built OneSchema so you can have production-ready CSV import set up in less than a day.
My co-founder Christina and I built OneSchema after suffering through months of wasted engineering time building CSV importers instead of core product features. Even after launch, the maintenance never seemed to end - parsing issues, performance improvements, and UX issues always seemed to pop up. We built OneSchema so product teams could focus on the features that matter most to their customers!
Ugh, I've been looking for something like this for a while.
I think if you've basically spent any amount of time building any B2B SaaS tool, the second you want to move to larger teams and the issue of large imports comes up, the CSV importer rears its head.
At this point, I feel like we've built them for multiple products, but they all suck. The issue is that at the end of the day, you end up reduced to asking your customers to fill out a spreadsheet that's spec'd to your importer and do it in one go, but even then... there will be something that breaks it. So the actual solution? You just have a human in the loop do something that should be pure software, and it basically kills that import function if you're trying for it to be self-serve.
Wish we had this for our last product, and definitely going to use it for our next congrats @andrew_luo1 and @christina_gilbert1... this is an almost perfect buy not build product that'll probably be universal in SaaS products in the future.
I wish we had OneSchema BEFORE we built our CSV integration for one of the products we built. Asking the customer to re-upload a CSV multiple times was a big pain for both them and us!
@melissa_du2 We're about to launch a suite of API features that let customers more flexibly customize their upload experience. It's a long requested feature that we're really excited to roll out!
After having performed countless painful data imports, I'm excited that OneSchema is tackling this problem with a tool WAY smarter than Excel, saving time for all Onboarding/Customer Success Managers helping customers with their data! Congrats on the launch :)
@jovian_chen Thanks so much for your support Jovian! We're excited to be helping people save time on this so they can get back to solving the important problems :)
@alice_hau Alice, thanks for the support! We've streamlined the flow to just the essential set of steps for easy onboarding and a simple, intuitive UI!
Congrats on the launch @andrew_luo1 and @christina_gilbert1. I know our team has been working closely with OneSchema to accept customer CSV data and it's been an amazing product experience.
@chezspigelman Absolutely -- we hope we can save companies time+money so they can get back to focusing on their core product! Thanks for your support Chez :)
I’ve seen this issue become problematic and a big bottleneck at my last couple of companies. Very exciting to see this launch and become a OneSchema evangelist!
