Orangedox started as a simple document tracking product, but as more businesses started using our platform we found that many of them were using us to help stop their confidential documents falling into the wrong hands. We first added password protection, but as many of our customer pointed out passwords can be easily shared. This lead us to create a whole new product, Secure Document Sharing. With secure document sharing we send unique access links to each recipient, once accessed their browser (and only their browser) is granted access to the document. This prevents forwarding of the access email to others, plus eliminates the need for passwords!
