The beautiful Oura ring automatically collects and wirelessly synchronizes data to the Oura app. It measures your physiological signals, with no switches or flashing lights. Just wear it.

I've used the v1 for the last 6-months and love it. Pretty much the gold (bitcoin) standard for HRV tracking. Very excited to get the v2, lots of improvements.

@kevinrose any hands on content in the near future??

@kevinrose it's so trivial, but Im concerned how this would look with my gold wedding band.. 2 rings? I was just getting used to one!
Philip
@kevinrose I just learned about this ring through your podcast this morning. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to using it!

@kevinrose heard about 2.0 on your podcast. Thanks. How do you think this will look on a female. It looks somewhat manly.

Ordered right as it came out! Sleep tracking and adjustments are one of the best kept secrets to a more fulfilling life. Oura does it better than anyone else.

Ōura is the first wearable that’s done properly. It blends it with the daily life and completely gets out of the way. Can’t wait until April 2018

Very excited about this, Oura is definitely my favorite wearable. Furthermore, they have the best customer service, my ring had a few issues and they replaced it within a few days. Pre-ordered a few days ago, eager to try it. Good job on hunting this @Kevin.

@jmlebeau they literally have the worst CX. Twitter, Instagram are literally littered with unhappy clients. It's obvious no other company even comes close to what they've managed to build (product-wise). Do you think this has changed as of Sept 2019? I'd love to invest in this as long as I know I'm not left hanging 3 months with no response from their CX team.

Oura v2 provides nice features with minimum size and weight and I believe in future this kind of wearables will be used to collect more information and help us to change our life style. I am working on my PhD research regarding user acceptance of wearables and would like to get your comments/feedback about using Oura. If you can fill below survey and answer questions I will be very happy, and I can also share the results with you if you leave your e-mail address: https://wearable.limequery.com/7... If you can share this link with your user base, it would have a huge effect for my research. Best regards,

I’ve been using OURA v1 for 12 months now and have been super happy with the product. I’ve tested dozens of different wellness trackers during the past 5 years and would have never guessed I would keep using a single tracker this long. OURA simply keeps on being relevant. I follow mostly the duration and quality of my sleep, resting heart rate and body temperature deviation. I can’t wait to get the new version when it ships!

The original Ōura ring is the best sleep tracker around so looking forward to the next-gen model! I've seen a preview of their updated app and glad to see they are surfacing a lot more data that was previously only accessible via their API. Ability to take HRV measurements at any point during the day is a great improvement.

Pros:

Smaller form factor, longer battery life, better charging, on-demand HRV, open API

Cons:

No GSR sensors added?

Ville Vesterinen

Love the first gen and seems like the v.2 has remedied most of what I was unhappy with the most important one being size. If you're happy with any other tracker in the market I can guarantee that even the first gen Oura is better and now it seem the v.2 is a big leap forward from already a good product.

Pros:

way smaller size, longer battery life from 2-3 days to 7 , better charging, on-demand HRV

Cons:

does not track HR during sports which is relevant for me but not necessarily for everyone

This looks amazing. Never heard of it, but I’m super interested now. This is going on my wish list for sure.
Hugh Kimura
So much better than any other tracking device. I forget to turn on apps on my phone and watches get in the way. A ring is perfect solution. Now I can quantify how changes in my habits affect my sleep.

I’m wed to just one ring — my wedding band, but I might consider it as a toe ring. Does it work that way and would it be comfortable on a toe?
Serge Faguet
Oura is truly awesome. I do a lot of hardcore biohacking and they enable me to track my sleep extremely well, been recommending them to friends and in all my posts on the subject. Really looking forward to V2! in V1 the relatively short battery life and large form factor was one of the most annoying problems. Excited to see the improvements!

It has helped me improve my sleep and recovery a lot!

Pros:

The best wearable ever

Cons:

Old model a bit big, but that's going to change in the next model

Catherine Crandall

Love the app, the reminders, the different metrics. I get compliments on how it looks by people who don't know it's a sleep wearable.

Pros:

Smaller than the original Oura ring, charging has improved. Love the new look too!

Cons:

none

Chris James

I've had the original ring for over a year now but after talking to the Oura team at Paleo FX I really can't wait to receive the new one later this month!

Pros:

Smaller than original, better tracking.

Cons:

People will want to steal it

i think it is too useful
