Clearly an interesting project. However, * I think that in most cases, using such a tool will make understanding a complex paper even more time-consuming, as one has to tackle the output of the tool, and shortcomings of the AI's understanding, in addition to the content of the paper. And clearly, a well-written paper cannot really be improved by AI. * The output of Paperpilot is unformatted text (and the Summarize feature doesn't even seem to structure the content with paragraphs), so it's much more difficult to read than a well-formatted PDF.
