Finally a baby between Zapier and Scripting! Excellent product for hybrid profiles who are not really technical but have a programer mindset. Congrats to the team!

Paragon is a powerful and elegant in-browser IDE for designing backend API workflows. I've been using it to enable rapid prototyping of new features for both business and personal use. It's already replaced most other automation tools for my go-to toolchain! Some features I love: - The editor doesn't require that I download/install anything to get up and running - For parallel data processing, Paragon can fan-out dynamically and handles the coordination for you - Native integrations with popular APIs (Twilio, SendGrid) - I can dive down into JavaScript whenever I need to implement custom logic Congrats on the launch @foolywk @ishthedestroyer! 🚀

Exciting to see this launch. Great work @brandon_foo and team! This is much-needed, as API workflows need to be much easier to build if we want software to move the world forward. Congrats on all of the progress since On Deck Fellowship!

What languages do the functions support? I've been searching for an API builder like this for a long time. Please fast track me through the waitlist, thanks! ray.li.verified@gmail.com

Hey @rayliverified! We currently support javascript but plan to add more languages in the future :) I didn't see your sign up come through - would you mind signing up at www.useparagon.com and filling out our onboarding survey? I'll be happy to fast track you through the waitlist!

@foolywk Thanks for the reply. I just submitted my email now. I've tested n8n and stdlib but I need something more scalable w/ database integrations. Hope to get my hands on Paragon and that this is the API builder I've been looking for.

We've been trying out Paragon for a few weeks - it's an impressive tool, the team are super helpful and the product has a really exciting direction! 🚀

@jeremynevans thanks, Jeremy! Really appreciate your feedback so far and can't wait to see what you'll build on Paragon next!

So excited to see you launch on PH! When Brandon first demonstrated what they were working on, I couldn't stop smiling. I've been using Paragon for a while now to sync custom analytics events I track on my backend with Mixpanel. I even used their Twilio integration to send me a text if any import errors occur. So much easier than setting this up with servers/cronjobs. The team is also very credible and insanely responsive. Could not recommend this product enough. Cheers everyone!

@jakemor thanks so much, Jake! Really appreciate your feedback and support ❤️

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 We created Paragon with the vision of making it easier for everyone to build software - starting with API logic. Today every company is a software company, but less than 1% of people are developers. Our goal is to abstract away as much of the complexity and repetitive work of building APIs, so you can just focus on your core business logic. Paragon provides building blocks like triggers, database queries, and API integrations that you can drag and drop to visually create API workflows. You can deploy workflows in one click and visualize the flow of data through every workflow execution for easy debugging. Here's a highlight of some use cases customers have built on Paragon: 💬Find inactive users in database, send them reactivation messages 💸Generate and send Stripe invoices based on customer activity 📑Parse users' document uploads via OCR, save results to database 📆Sync users' Google Calendar events to display in your app Thank you so much and looking forward to your feedback / questions / discussion!

This looks super cool! I was a PM and I could see myself using this instead of submitting PRs to engineering and taking up their time
Volodymyr Machula
Looks great! But what is the main difference with Zapier?

This is looking great. Congrats @brandon_foo

This is really dope! People spend so much time building these custom workflows inside every company. Gives more leverage to marketing and sales teams without having to build out their own engineering team.
