@rrhoover@ryantholmes LOL. Ummmmm I think found a bug
I tried to spam @lylemckeany, and it only sent one to him. It sent the rest to my most recent iMessage, which was a group chat with my family 0_o
Luckily the message was just "suppppp" :)
@staringispolite@rrhoover@lylemckeany Definitely a problem. Luckily it doesn't seem to be very common. The app runs a contact's name and a message in an Applescript that pushes it to iMessage. So it's sending "Lyle McKeany" to iMessage with your message. The only thing I can think of to fix it, is to set an interval so it doesn't go so fast. Any thoughts anyone else?

I don't think I've ever used a buggier app on OS X. It took me 10 minutes to test-re-test-re-test changing all sorts of iMessage settings. (I had to come back here to look through the comments to figure out what to type into the recipient field!)
On the other hand I am getting severe amounts of enjoyment out of this now that it's (barely) working.
I'm always blown away at how creative and fun some of my friends can be with texting (with emoji's, formattings etc.).
There's something relentlessly creative about humans- give us a text box and we will invent novel ways of using it! Cool project :)
Back in the days of AOHell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AOHell) this was the equivalent of an email bomb. If you google "SMS Bomb" you'll find some similar ones. Nice interface though!
Thanks for the love!! I made this as a fun challenge to create a micro product in two weeks! Would love to hear your feedback on ways of taking it from fun to the actually useful side of things. Big thanks to Meng To at Design+Code for the encouragement. Happy Hunting.
This is fun! Annoying my stupid sister has never been more exciting, it would be more fun if there's a way to apply it to other social media platforms though, have you thought about that?
@erikfinman@RyanTHolmes hahaha. I was one of the first sign ups. Looks dope.
I wish iMessage's behavior was predictable. Such a janky product....Looking forward to using this on b-days.
