Similar to the distributed concept of BTC and Web3, all data will be stored in your private iCloud, unique AES256 key and RSA asymmetric encryption is stored in your keychain. It works on iOS and macOS, also support autofill password extension!

Congratulations on the launch! Just tried out PassLock and I'm genuinely impressed with the intuitive interface and seamless experience. It's made managing my myriad of passwords a breeze! Curious though, with several options like Keeper out there, what unique features does PassLock offer to stand out in this crowded space? Looking forward to more innovative updates!

PassLock seems like a secure and convenient password manager! How does it compare to other popular password management solutions in terms of features and security measures?
Melo Dreek
@andrew_leader Hi Andrew, PassLock is a software focused on the Apple ecosystem. Data is only stored in the user's private iCloud. If you only use Apple products, PassLock is probably the better choice, and this market should be able to accommodate so many products. And we offer probably the lowest priced fees, while 1Password costs up to $35 a year

Impressive work, @melo_dreek1! It's more than a password manager, storing all my important info securely. Love the distributed tech for added peace of mind. Will definitely incorporate it into my routine. Quick question: any plans for a mobile app version in the future? Great job!
Melo Dreek
@chiragshelar This is a mobile app for iOS and macOS, and pre-order on AppStore now

Congrats on the launch! However, I'm curious, in this case, what does it mean that it's distributed? Seeing the docs, it says the data is stored in the user iCloud 🤔
Melo Dreek
@smontiel We generate a unique AES256 key for each user. All encrypted data in iCloud is not the same, even if they are the same plaintext. In this respect, I can call it distributed

Hey Melo! Congrats on developing PassLock all by yourself. It sounds like a really useful tool! I have a question though, how did you come up with the idea for it?
Melo Dreek
@goyashy I am a deep user of Apple and I have a need for this but 1Password and LastPass are too expensive and I don't need windows and android. so there is PassLock.

Crazy how much effort you put into making this secure. Definitely worth a try ad I am sure 90% of other password apps are getting hacked all the time.
