Paste is the world's favorite clipboard manager for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. It stores everything you copy and keeps your clipboard organized across all your devices.
@happygezim this is a great question. After the Big Sur launch, there was a bug in Paste's sync capabilities, causing it to crash immediately after launch. @stel2k was in touch with me about the issue, but it took about a week to fix.
In the meantime, I fell back to Alfred's clipboard feature and ... OMG I missed Paste. Yes, Alfred's was serviceable and functional — but it wasn't as visual, didn't sync, and in general just clearly isn't as focused as Paste's. In Alfred, it's one of MANY features... Paste is ONLY focused on the clipboard.
I happily pay for both products, and if you can afford it, I recommend you do too.
Hey Product Hunt! I'm so thrilled to see Paste featured today 😻
Paste 3 is a major update that I have been working on for quite a while to support the power and beauty of the new macOS Big Sur. With a refreshed look and feel, a brand new search engine, and a shiny new icon by @matthewskiles it fits perfectly into the new environment and takes the old-good clipboard to the new level!
Even though tools like Alfred or BetterTouchTool exist that allow for a clipboard, I think Paste is doing this just a lot smarter/nicer - for one thing, it just looks nice!
Using different lists, iOS support, not screwing with my universal clipboard al the time, makes it a great app to use. One of the first I install on my mac! Keep up the graet work @stel2k, and happy to support your efforts (through Setapp in my case!)
This is definitely one of the most useful apps for mac. I started using Paste about 3 years ago, loved it the first day, but it got even better since then.
@michroyt agree with you. Fantastic app and execution. I received the "free" temporary upgrade but when that's done I'm going to find something else. Subscription fatigue is right around the corner for a lot of people.
@michroyt +1 I love to support apps I use with subscriptions when I know there’s a solid feature roadmap, but having paid for the previous version I’ve kept on using the previous legacy version for months now. I can’t think of many more major features I’d want, and besides UI/icon changes here, it doesn’t look like I’m missing out on much.
@stel2k Do you offer a lifetime subscription? Paste is an amazing product, it saves me countless hours a week! I'd love to gift a few licenses to some friends.
@alexander_ivlev1@stel2k I love Paste on my Mac, and I really wish I had it on Windows. I am happy to pay the subscription price to keep it going and Windows support would put it over the top.
Love the app, but I'm not sure to understand the reasoning behind the subscription, probably because I ignore lots of details. Would you mind explaining what sort of recurring costs need to be paid through it? As far as I know, syncing is made via iCloud, but I could be wrong.
