Patterns is the fastest way to connect AI like ChatGPT to real business data and drive actions. In Patterns, you can build a Slack bot to answer incoming customer questions using your existing docs, add an AI assist feature to your product, and more.

Ken and I built Patterns to get rid of the pain of deploying AI like ChatGPT into real world use cases. Instead of cobbling together cloud functions, with Patterns you can go from idea to fully deployed AI automation in minutes, with the full power of our marketplace of data sources and actions, as well as custom Python and SQL execution. To get started, we recommend cloning an existing app or checking out one of our builder posts: 1. Prompt engineering davinci-003 on our own docs for automated support 2. Replacing a SQL analyst with 26 recursive GPT prompts 3. What Happened This Week? Create a Slack Bot that Summarizes Channels with GPT-3 Now that AI is just an API call to OpenAI, itโ€™s more true than ever that the hard part of building with AI is the data processing, orchestration, and actioning. Happy building! Reach out to kvh@patterns.app or chris@patterns.app if you want to chat.

@chris_stanley3 Congrats on the launch, it maybe greatly lower the threshold for people unfamiliar with AI services. and I believe the glue service with AI will become a big business with AI becoming more and more popular

@chris_stanley3 Hey there! Congratulations on the recent launch of Patterns on Product Hunt! ๐ŸŽ‰ Looks interesting. Do I need to know a pro

@chris_stanley3 I first heard about your app through the SQL prompt blog. I'm very curious to see how it evolves. I signed up for an account. I'll have to play with it soon. Good Luck!
Chris Stanley
@oe_zheng thanks! It going to be exciting to see all the different ways AI gets implemented in the future!

Congratulations on the launch! It sounds like Patterns is a great way to simplify and streamline deploying AI-based applications. What kind of feedback have you been receiving so far?
Chris Stanley
@heyumarkhan the feedback so far has been amazing! It's been so interesting to give people the Patterns building blocks and see what use cases they come up with! We've received a lot of interest from software engineers who want to leverage Patterns to add an AI feature to their existing product or business!!

Hey there! Congratulations on the recent launch of Patterns on Product Hunt! ๐ŸŽ‰ Looks interesting. Do I need to know a programming language to use it? If so, which one?
Chris Stanley
@denis_galka Thank you! Yes, to build apps you need to know Python and SQL, but in the future who knows what AI code assist will unlock :)

Congrats on launching! I'm very interested in the low-code/low-infra approach you've taken with Patterns. It definitely helps increase speed of execution, analysis, and information dissemination within the organisation. What's the most common use case you see across your users of your product?
Chris Stanley
@ed_forson so many use cases! You can categorize them into internal tools and products. For example, a lot of people are following this template (1) to build expert chatbot products. Semantic embeddings injection into prompt construction to answer questions. https://studio.patterns.app/grap... On the internal tools side of things, there are a ton of automations you can run with GPT to automate GTM efforts, like sales prospecting, lead scoring, customer health behavioral scores, etc. https://studio.patterns.app/grap... https://studio.patterns.app/grap...

@chris_stanley3 Thanks for this. It's quite clear from the design what the flow of these "patterns" looks like. I'll keep your product in mind in case I have a need myself or friends ask how to chain together multiple AI actions!

๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations on the recent launch of Patterns on Product Hunt! ๐ŸŽ‰ I'm excited to start building with AI and see what kind of projects I can create. Could you tell me more about the various use cases you've seen? What are some of the most interesting projects you've seen created with Patterns? What features do you think make Patterns unique? ๐Ÿค” Looking forward to hearing more about the possibilities with Patterns! ๐Ÿคฉ
Utkarsh Gupta
Hey @chris_stanley3 congrats on your launch! Quite keen to know how you conceptualized this idea so quickly since ChatGPT is still so new.
Chris Stanley
@ug911 we've been building an API driven data pipeline product for a while now and the commercialization of GPT has aligned very well with ours. So we're lucky to be building the right thing at the right time!

Congratulations! Could you help me with use cases in sales and customer support? It would be great if you could share some resources on the same

Congratulations on Patterns' recent Product Hunt launch! Interesting looking. Does using it require me to know a programming language? Which one, if any,?
Usama Ejaz
Fantastic job! Patterns is a game-changer for AI-driven customer engagement and automation. Can't wait to see how it helps businesses!

Congratulations! I spotted this via Reactflow discord this is morning, this is so well done ๐ŸŽ‰ Did you find your choice of tooling to be a powerful building block in accomplishing some of your goals?
Marty Mitchener
@atticoos thanks! React Flow has been been an excellent library to build our frontend around. Moritz Klack, the creator of React Flow, actually helped us out quite a bit with our initial architecture. He deserves a huge amount credit for where we are today!
Patrick Thompson
Congrats Ken & Chris! Excited to see the launch and excited about what you all are building, and can't wait to use it!
Kirill Krotko
The easier it is to integrate AI into services, the faster the future will come. Thanks for the product!

Let me ask this? If a customer puts in Origin and Destination Cities or Zips, Can AI Go to a Table for rates at Origin, and Destination, and also go to a third table and pull rates from Origin to Destination? So a local rate is needed for Origin. A local rate is needed for Destination. And a Third rate is needed for transport between a City Named at Origin and a City Named at Destination. So pull numbers from Table A, Table B, and using city name in Table A & Table B, can it pull numbers from Table C? artsghsbiz@gmail.com

Congrats on the launch. I came across you blog yesterday and today you launched on product hunt. Awesome idea
Satyanarayan Prashar
Congratulations on the launch!! I have a pretty basic knowledge of python can I still use it?
Chris Stanley
@satyanarayan_prashar Yes! And if you have issues just use ChatGPT to generate python ๐Ÿคฃ

I use Patterns for managing some cron jobs and flow webhook responses via Klaviyo events for Free Blocks https://www.producthunt.com/prod... . It is absolutely excellent and the solution I've been looking for to replace AWS Lambda, Heroku Scheduler, my Digital Ocean boxes and various other solutions I've used over the years. I recommend giving their docs a read to help get started and understand where this fits in among the ecosystem of compute / DB / streaming / visualization solutions https://www.patterns.app/docs/co... . This is one of those tools that grows on you the more you use it and discover the power of what it can do.
Chris Stanley
@ben_brostoff thanks for the feedback Ben! Excited to have Free Blocks leveraging Patterns for some core workflows!!!
Akhil Reddy
Wow this is super cool! The applications for this are endless. Can't wait to check it out! Congrats on the launch Chris and team!
