My experience was different. I bought one for my iPhone 6 and it was become a bit saggy and lost the tension with in 4 months. There was a tiny tear happened near the headphone jack even before it become useless. Finally I given up and bought something else in high street.
@scriptstar Yeah same experience here. The plastic seems to me a tad too thing and low quality to actually retain its shape for more than 3 months. Mine ended up looking like a saran wrap after a while!
@scriptstar yeh mine came a little loose after 5 months or so... but I bought like 3/4 and just switched them over.
Granted this isnt the ideal use-case because you shouldn't need to but I cant stand a dirty case so like having a fresh one as often as possible (within reason - e.g. not my battery case!)
@scriptstar yea same, was amazing for the first few months. Felt great and my friends loved but then became saggy as you said. I've gone back to being caseless
The email/video you receive after ordering is worth the $25 alone. Despite the couple of not so great reviews, I'm giving these guys a shot. The logolessness is a huge selling point for me, that spigen logo is fugly!
@mitchfox Be ready to buy a new case after every 3-4 months since they just weirdly stretch out. My antenna bands are now all scratched because of Peel.
These cases allow Apple's design to shine through 😌 But I'm afraid they'll only protect against scratches. It's a good thing apple changed screen repair cost to $29 with AppleCare 😄
@pieroborgo Hey Piero, very sorry to hear you had a bad experience with us. I'm pasting what I wrote to some others just now in here: We've been listening to customer feedback and began tweaking our plastics formula a while back. As part of this new case design for iPhone 7 we're releasing the new plastic formula that should cut down on excessive stretching over time. While it's certainly not impossible to stretch out, this new formula is muuuuuch better at holding up over time. We've also been slowly rolling this out to previous case designs as we produce more. Some of our most recent 6s now have this too. Someone from our team will be reaching out to you directly soon.
I had some Peel cases for my iPhone 6... I'd recommend them for the 7 for sure.
Think my combo will have to be 7+ and peel case... I need the battery! (currently on 6 with battery case)
Some folks complain that the Peel case broke after use. I had mine for several months and it held up just fine, until I dropped my phone.
Peel definitely isn't the most durable but it's super thin, almost unnoticeable.

@marshal Nice! My spigen is a bit beat up so I'll give this a shot. I get it, a thin case is not an otterbox (nor should it be!). I prefer thin over tough personally.

This is not a $25 product. As said in multiple posts below, there are high-quality vendors like Spigen that provide great protection at less than half this price.
Not sure why a thin piece of plastic should be worth 25 bucks. It probably costs less than a dollar to make. Unless you sell it for 5.99 it's a big 👎🏻, sorry.
@guidoj The only "companies" selling a case for that price are Chinese factories that are making the mold themselves, typically coping or actually using the mold that someone else has paid for. Giving the cost of design, molds, packaging, shipping, marketing, etc, etc. there would be no way to make this a profitable venture otherwise. Even at $5.99 the profit must be around $1 per unit for the factory who is not marketing or paying for a mold production - after the cost of packaging, manufacturing, and shipping. Just FYI
I'm with @bentossell on this product; I like to have a fresh phone case and appreciate an alternative to regular cases. This sounds like those other peel screen protectors where you can wrap the entire phone. A key difference with this one is the ability to customize your phone's protection by choosing different Peel colors. Super cool! It's a decent price point too, so you can buy a few of them to prepare for wear + tear. This product is a no brainier to me, and I appreciate this company and its competitors for offering cases now instead of after the phone is released. Happy selling, Peel team 🙂
What is the shipping time like? I tried to order this product for my 6s back in the day, but ultimately had to cancel because it just never got shipped :( I've ordered one for my new 7 - hopefully not a repeat of last time! :) #optimism
I think it's a tad unrealistic to expect a super thin case not to break down due to wear and tear eventually. It's a simple tradeoff: you can buy an Otter Box and put up with the added weight and clunkiness but have durability, or go for something sleeker that's not designed to survive an asteroid shower. Personally I prefer the latter. My Peel case has served its purpose and I'll probably get a new one soon.
Just had mine delivered in SF and first thoughts compared to the older 6 Peel is that it does feel sturdier and tighter fitting to the iPhone 7. Took a bit of effort to get the device in. Feels great in the hand and without looking closely you wouldn't realize there was a case on it.
I bought one the last time this was hunted and had the same stretching issues everyone else shared. I also got an iPad mini case in the same order that ended up not fitting. I had tweeted at them before I ordered to doublecheck and they never replied.
The return process was just a ton of back and forth emails that unnecessarily dragged on for weeks. When I finally eventually got the credit it wasn't even for the right amount. I do not recommend Peel cases. I've switched to similar ones on Amazon for a fraction of the price that have held up way, way better.
