Video conferencing for seamless multitasking and collaboration - bring audio and video, screensharing, chat windows to the screen in small, free-form, floating pieces.
Hello fellow ProductHunters!
We're excited to introduce PEEP, a new video conferencing tool we're building.
With PEEP,
- Audio/video chat, and screen sharing windows can be floated & separated freely on the screen at any size and position.
- This makes multitasking and collaboration very free and
- and makes video conferencing a much less psychologically demanding.
Other details include :
- More than one person can screen share at the same time, and
- You can draw on top of your screen share (point and feedback), and
- Use emoji to express your emotions in a cute way (raising hands, sitting down, and more).
In 1-2 months, we will officially open the 1.0 version with updates such as Workspace feature (collaborative workspace) and Web version (invite guests to meetings without downloading the app), so please look forward to this part :)
Please try it out and spread the word,
If you have any questions, feedback, suggestions, requests for onboarding sessions, etc. please send them to service+peep@op.gg 🙆♂️
@kyel_seo@kyel_seo Congratulations on the launch of PEEP, the new video conferencing tool. This platform is perfect for seamless multitasking and collaboration with features such as audio and video, screensharing, and chat windows, all in small, free-form, and floating pieces.
BTW, I thought this was a web-based conference, but I didn't realize that I needed to install a app. The login form can also be put on display later, it slows down new users to use the product
@oe_zheng Thanks for the feedback! I totally agree with you, the website has a lot of steps and I'm getting some bounce rate, and the process of downloading the desktop app seems to create a funnel.
However, the floating window in the desktop app is a unique experience that is not available in other web-based video conferencing tools. It's a really cool multitasking and collaboration experience, so please give it a try!
I participated in their beta test and absolutely adored this product. There are three standout features:
1. Fantastic branding! PEEP! It's simple to remember, eye-catching, and effectively communicates the product's concept.
2. Seamless user experience! Although there have been comparable products in this space, PEEP, in my opinion, is the best. Every detail is thoughtfully designed and functions smoothly.
3. More than just a tool for work! I feel like I could use PEEP not only with my colleagues, but also with my friends, thanks to its entertaining features like drawing and meme sharing.
Keep up the excellent work, PEEP!
The logo is so cute and the product looks cool in general.
I would like to know how you differentiate Peep from other great tools like Around.
The one thing I've noticed while using Around for cold, external meetings was - it's generally better to have a tool that everybody is already familiar with, such as Google Meet and Zoom because they already have an account and know how to use it so well.
However, it would be totally different story if this tool is intended to be used with internal meetings since the team can learn new tool gradually and master it at some point.
I'll give a shot on Peep for my next team meetings if possible :)
@daun_io Yeah, I mean, no matter how good your user experience is, at the end of the day, you're going to have to share it with other people, and you're going to have to convince them all at once.
I think our tool needs to be more niche and have a clearer value proposition from a networking effect perspective, so I'm thinking a lot about the future direction.
Check out PEEP, the revolutionary new product that's changing the way people collaborate! This out-of-the-box solution is sure to innovate the world of collaborations.
