We’re really excited to have finally released Version 5 this week after working on it for over a year!
Like most of you, our team has switched entirely to remote work, and luckily it was a very smooth transition.
Our update comes right in time: Recently, we noticed how usage of our SDK is spiking, as people engage more frequently with digital tools.
It’s definitely a good time to improve and update your digital infrastructure now. With Version 5, we are releasing our yet biggest update of our PESDK for Web. This includes a major overhaul of the User Interface and Experience, such as consistency, dark & light themes, accessibility, and performance, just to name a few improvements.
We worked on rebuilding our UI codebase for a vast improvement in developer experience in terms of easy integration and flexible customization. This update couldn’t have happened without hundreds of customers like Mailchimp, HP, and Square, all providing us with critical feedback and insights.
This release is a super important step for us, and we will announce even more major news in the coming months. So stay tuned :) Of course, we’re really happy to get some feedback. Read more here: https://blog.photoeditorsdk.com/...
I’m sure some of you makers might be interested in adding an editor into your service. If so, just ping us until the end of April and tell us you came from Product Hunt, and we’ll provide you a 10% discount on our license pricing.
At Constant Contact we use all three versions of the SDK: Web, iOS & Android, and we can't be more pleased with it! Integration is super simple, and our users are constantly delighted with the depth of features it provides, some of them include filters, borders, stickers, text in a variety of fonts, really nice looking pre-designed text overlays, and the usual color/contrast/lighting settings. They've also now added video editing to the package, though we don't make use of that (yet?), but I'm sure it's as solid as the rest. And on the rare occasion that we need developer support, they've always been quite responsive. Thank you @imgly 👍
Hi Till, we currently have around 400 customers that use it in the wild, round about half of them use our Web version on their website, the other use our mobile versions. But, if you are a Mailchimp user you will see it in action, just login, create a email campaign and edit a photo.
I'm maintaining the AndroidWeekly newsletter on Mailchimp and image editing before was launching PhotoShop, saving the image to a different location - all in all a cumbersome process. Now that there is a tool inside Mailchimp it works like charm.
