How we got here (in third person, narrated by Morgan Freeman):
Like most 8 year olds in the early 2000’s, Birch Eve spent most of his free time playing Xbox Live with total strangers across the globe.
Considering we had just progressed as a society from dial-up, the internet was spotty and frequently went out. So, naturally, he called the local, friendly corporation of AT&T himself.
The first thing he heard every single time? “This call may be monitored and recorded…”
Fast forward to a year ago, Birch made a similar call, and that exact automated phrase was repeated back to him.
“Why do companies still need to do this? How are companies using these recordings? How can we leverage these conversations to be more customer focused?”
Out of these questions, Pickle was born!
