@marcperel Hey Marc, thanks for your feedback.
- It automatically shows the top 8 apps using the more bandwidth. Would you like to display more?
- Since you see which apps consume the most network, you can close those you donβt need right now in order to get a better connection. Maybe your dropbox is actually downloading a huge file but it can wait.
- The bandwidth consumption of a ping is marginal. Weβre doing a ping every 5 sec; weβre thinking of adding a setting so you can change that interval.
Hey PH π
Iβm excited to show you our second Mac menu bar app. After IP Man (https://www.producthunt.com/post...)β¦ here is Ping Man! π We are very close to call this a suite. Actually we already have an idea for the next appβ¦ π€«
We really liked creating IP Man. We got the idea of Ping Man right after and were excited to launch a new Mac app. We decided to work on this less than a week ago. We never launched that quickly! So please be gentle π Your feedback is highly appreciated.
Ping Man is very easy to use:
π Always keep an eye on your ping displayed on your menu bar.
β‘οΈ Check which apps consume the most network.
βοΈ Change the URL you want to ping.
@marie_dm_@francoolaami If you care enough about your ping to install a menu bar app, I think you're more likely to also want to actually see what your ping is rather than some arbitration - at least I know that'd be my preference.
