In my experience, the most painful part of keeping up with using a CRM is the data entry. Pipedrive's data entry is pretty well done and works great for SMBs + startups. The Pipeline view is intuitive as well for moving deals along the pipeline.

Pipedrive is great if you're managing a small number of deals or really want a high level drag/drop interface for moving deals around statuses. For higher volume sales, or if you're more concerned about efficiency and avoiding manual data entry (calls & emails are tracked automatically), we built Close.io based on limitations we saw in Pipedrive and others: http://close.io/

Great app for managing your sales, basically for any type of enterprise.

Pros:

Email integration, reporting/analytics, visual pipeline, easy to use

Cons:

no significant cons for the price it offers (could have extended contacts' sync features like in Salesflare)

We use it for sales funnel and works for us. I'm sure there's lots of things it doesn't do but we don't seem to be missing them.

Just switched to this based on glowing reviews for others. We use it for new business and has been working out great so far. I put together a Rapportive Raplet that pulls in Rapportive information right alongside Gmail - it also lets you add new users to Pipedrive if they don't exist. A CRM is supposed to help you and support you in your everyday tasks and not distract you. And this is exactly what Pipedrive does at its very core nature. In picksaas we think Pipedrive CRM is both reasonably priced and one of the simplest CRM services

I use pipedrive connected to Mailshake with Zapier to handle our outreach. The did recently add automations but I'm finding it's more geared towards managing the sales process.

I really like this tool. It is super visual and you can create your own pipelines that work for you. However, the most painful part is the data entry, thus I would suggest to improve the part that the software itself can move to a deal created and also responded.
