@danielxli Congrats on the launch Dan! I spend 10-15%+ of my time logging in and opening new tabs to see updated info - this is a game changer! Are you gonna come out with Firefox extension soon?

No firefox extension yet but listening to customer feedback on what browsers people use. Right now, we support all Chromium browsers, so that includes most of the browsers our users use (Chrome, Edge, Arc, Brave).

@mian_azan thanks for the comment and the question! To ensure a high degree of security we follow enterprise-grade security practices and build products with control and transparency in mind. We use the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) encryption algorithm for data at-rest and Transport Layer Security (TLS) for data in-transit. In addition, we have achieved SOC 2 Type II level compliance.
This is a game changer! Plus New Tab takes convenience to another level by personalizing my new tab. It's like having my own dashboard. Love it!

@danielxli This is a great idea.. a truly custom data aggregator for the individual for any website... simple to use and seems to work out of the box with little to no effort! Great job! I am quite concerned about how you are able to get those screenshots: Are you storing request header data made by my machine on your servers?
Hi @john_carmichael — I'm an engineer at Plus. We don't store headers directly but we do store identifying information in order to reproduce our user's sessions during screenshot capture. This does place a lot of responsibility on our shoulders — and is something we take extremely seriously. We go out of our way to make sure privileged data is secured at both organizational and technological levels. At a high level, we enforce common OWASP best practices like the principle of least privilege, we avoiding key-reuse, and use full end-to-end enterprise-grade encryption in transit and at rest. Wow, I had been considering creating a similar product a while back because it is incredibly useful for organising screenshots of specific websites for record-keeping purposes, like crypto portfolio pages or data feed pages. Thank you so much for providing such an excellent product!

I personally use it to snapshot a Daily Deal website that's popular in my country — which I can then see every time I open a new tab without needing to directly visit the website. Since I open a lot of new tabs throughout my workday, I'm guaranteed to see when any new limited products or hot deals show up! 😂

Congrats on the launch, Awesome idea it will make it easy to monitor various dashboards at a single click personally it is something I always needed.
For a while, I thought about building a unified dashboard but this makes things very simpler. Eagerly looking for the Firefox extension

Hey there, I was checking out your product and I think the feature that captures updated screenshots of webpages is really cool! It could be super useful for tracking price changes, monitoring news updates, and keeping tabs on social media engagement.
I was wondering if you're planning to add any additional features to make it even more valuable? Maybe something like real-time alerts or a comparison tool? For instance, a way to look at how metrics have changed, or for example to look at a website that estimates app downloads and get updates on that, etc.
Also, I'm curious to know if you've received any feedback from users on how they're using this feature, and if there are any specific use cases that have surprised you?
Lastly, I'm interested to know what your long-term vision is for this product, and how you see this feature fitting into that vision?

This is perhaps a partial answer to your questions, but, our roadmap is quite fluid at the moment as we iterate through all the customer feedback and asks that we've been receiving. However, yes; we're definitely working on improvements and new features. The ability for users to subscribe to change notifications for their snapshots has come up a few times and is something we've noodled on.
Businesses, small to large, use a lot of disparate, typically completely disconnected tools. Long term, we want to make it easy for any user to integrate and mash up data from all of their tools, to combine their data, and look at and share it all in a single place. In terms of how this feature fits in - we recognized that the new tab is the most easily accessible place on our users' browser, so it seems like a great place to let our users start consolidating all those disconnected tools there!
