Can you make it display dislikes? Half joking but I have a Chrome extension that does that and it's quite nice as long as we're talking about fixing things that are wrong with the default Youtube experience. Nice work on this!
PocketTube is one of my favorite chrome extensions.
Now that Safari on iOS and iPadOS supports extensions, are there any plans to bring the extension over to those platforms?
The mobile app is okay, but I like using YouTube.com and PocketTube would be amazing in Safari on the iPad.
@donni Thanks, Donni! Yes, I think about an extension version for iOS too. It looks is not easy to implement, but maybe I'll do it.
Seems like a good value add for frequent YouTube users. Especially in mobile. And smart to leverage YouTube UX but enhance that.

Try to use these workarounds for Safari:

If the extension does not show up in Safari, try running the below command in the terminal and restart your computer: /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -f /Applications/Safari.app

If the command above doesn't help, try another workaround:
1. Download and install Safari Technology Preview: https://developer.apple.com/safa...
2. Open and close Safari Technology Preview
3. Now extensions should appear in regular Safari

Been using the chrome extension for a while now, its great! Im a little confused on the 3.0 version, I downloaded the extension for free initially, but see there is a paid version now. When I click on the link to check it out, it just takes me to the free version. Is this a paid upgrade?

I love the app, especially for iOS mobile/tablet. Any way to implement a feature where before auto launching a bunch of queued videos as a playlist in the youtube app, the users can select/deselect which videos we want to be added to the queue? and also mark videos as seen on the mobile/tablet app?
@jr_d Thanks! 'added to the queue' will be available in several days in the extension. 'mark videos as seen' is not possible to add to mobile, because it is youtube restrictions.
Makes it so much easier to keep up with the subscriptions you care about, but still be subscribed to those accounts you only occasionally want to check out!
