It can definitely work for YouTube channels or livestreams but you'll have to bring your own provider for that (just like YouTube, you'll have to use Restream or similar - we don't host the video content)
With YouTube, everything is automated - we import all your previous videos and fetch future ones as they are published. You don't have to do anything manually.
If you have a live stream, you may have to embed it on your website's homepage (or any inner page) and it should definitely work, but that process is manual for the time being.
@tom_pp okay cool! i'll check it out. Is there a way to limit which videos it imports? Or is it all or nothing? (For instance, i wouldnt want it to import EVERY youtube video i published, just my livestreams . Can i configure that?)
@britt_joiner Sounds good! We don't have such an option, but there are a few exceptions that could help:
1) You can import playlists rather than channels - If you want, simply create a new playlist with all of the videos you intend to import and it'll work right away.
2) This probably don't help that much, but we skip private/deleted videos, so if you flag a video as private it won't be imported (that said, it'd also be hidden from YouTube)
Wow what a nice concept and you really have some awesome designs. If I had to create a Podcast related website some day you guys would be my go to tool!

The website is created instantly based on either a podcast RSS feed or a YouTube channel and automatically imports all your content. (of course, you can always create the website without connecting any of those - but that kinda misses the point I suppose)
I've made a research of over 100 podcasting titles trending this year, and have interviewed dozens of podcasters for this research.
40% of them point that Promotion is the biggest challenge in Podcasting, and solution like Podcast page should find it's target audience, because it solves the core problem. Also, I LOVE the idea of how it handles with APIs of different streaming platforms with is not as easy as it seems. Great idea and realization!

😎 What's the story behind Podcastpage?
It all began several years ago when I wanted to help out a friend and create a website for their podcast. I had many years of programming/site-building experience, but it was still a pain to: import all historic (and future!) podcast episodes and create a unique URL for each episode, add links and icons to the different podcast platforms, get an audio player on the website, and list episodes on various pages. This was a good reason to spin up a quick MVP and help podcasters!
😱 Why re-launch now?
When we first launched 2-3 years ago, it did feel somewhat like the "MVP" part I've mentioned above.
Since then, we've been working tirelessly to improve the platform, add more features, layouts and capabilities.
Today, I'm happy introduce a new set of features that really make our platform unique.

This has been a great solution for my podcast website. Nicely formatted pages and ease of the user interface saves tonnes of time. I also like the variety of things you can do with the site.
