Hi Hunters! Michael here, CEO of Podcraftr.
For years, we've all been creating text content - blog posts, emails, news articles, reports - but often struggle to produce more engaging, modern content like videos or podcasts.

With Podcraftr you can:

- ๐๏ธ Create a podcast without any expensive recording gear
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Clone your voice to enhance the personalization and engagement with your existing audience

@devindsgbyq Thanks Devin! We currently partner with ElevenLabs for our voice cloning features, so they are extremely lifelike even at a small sample size. We intend to offer Professional Voice cloning in the future as well.
Good luck, man! I hope you see more traction than one of my products, read-this.ai. I was considering this pivot but decided to focus my energy on notis.ai, so I'm curious how this turns out! I think it's a fantastic idea.
@mindtheflo Thanks Flo! Love what you did with read-this as I have the exact same desire to listen to most of my information (aural learner). We're hoping Podcraftr can focus more heavily on our distribution and monetization while still making it simple for the user to produce the content on the front end.
Appreciate your support!
@rowanbarlowstainsby Great question - we do currently have quite a number of stock voice options along with the ability to clone your voice. We have yet to add native accents outside of English to our stock library but plan to very soon depending on which accents customers ask for.
@lwanda_mhlongo Thanks Lwanda! We want the content Podcraftr produces to help amplify the human behind it, and their unique voice is a big part of that!
@fiscalcliffw Always appreciate the support, Cliff! What you're doing with Cliff Notes is so helpful for the AI space, and we love having you on the platform.
The idea of turning text into high-quality podcasts with just a few clicks is revolutionary. I can already imagine my blog posts suddenly coming to life in audio form. The voice cloning feature sounds fascinatingโcanโt wait to hear my own dulcet tones broadcasting to the world!
Also, the dynamic ad placements could provide a nice ROI while weโre at it. The ability to distribute to all major platforms in under 5 minutes feels like the ultimate growth hack. The creativity of your users must be off the charts, especially with that daily Product Hunt podcast!
Excited to see where Podcraftr takes the podcasting scene. Letโs get those audio waves rolling! ๐
Hey Michael,
This is such an interesting concept for content repurposing! How accurate is it in replicating the original speaker's tone and inflections?
For those of us who might be new to podcasting, do you offer any guidance on optimal content length or structure for maximum engagement?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Great question. The answer, as with most AI, is that the more you feed it, the better it performs. While we only โneedโ 1 minute of audio to create a voice clone, if you feed us more, Podcraftr will pick up on the specifics of the voice much better. You can also tweak an โexaggerationโ setting to lean in more or less heavily to those unique properties.
As for educating those newer to podcasting, I think thatโs a great idea - like a Podcraftr Academy. Our LLM however does a pretty good job at taking content not formatted for a podcast and turning into into podcast form using best practices for intros, outros, and timing.
This sounds really interesting, Michael! I'm curious, how does the voice cloning actually work? Is it easy to get started with minimal tech skills? ๐ค
@javi_fedez Thanks Javi! We've actually been quietly including multilingual abilities behind the scenes! If you send in Spanish, you should (in general) get Spanish back, both in your transcript and the accent from the speaker. Some speakers have a more natural accent than others, so we're looking to add more native speaking voices as well!
