Hey PH! I'm Saikiran, Product Designer of 21n. After years of struggling with scattered notes, lost ideas, and disconnected thoughts across different apps, we realized something: we're not really suffering from a note-taking problem – we're facing a digital memory crisis. Like many of you, we tried all other popular apps. But something was always missing. Our thoughts don't work in rigid folders or pure graphs. We think in memories – fluid, connected, and diverse. I found myself taking a photo of a whiteboard during a client meeting, recording a voice note while commuting to work, saving designs from Dribbble that inspired me, and highlighting passages in books – all related to the same project or idea. But connecting these pieces? That was a nightmare. The deeper we dove into this problem three critical issues became clear. - Capture Friction: Most tools make even basic note-taking a chore, forcing you through multiple clicks, menus, and decisions just to capture a simple thought. It gets even worse when you're away from your desk, trying to capture fleeting ideas or various types of content. - Organization Overload: Users spend more time organizing than thinking. - Connection Blindness: Valuable relationships between ideas remain hidden in folders and tags. That's when we created the Node-Collection-Combination-Linking (NCCL) system. Instead of forcing you to adapt to the tool, we built a system that adapts to how your mind naturally works: - Nodes: Capture anything, anywhere (text, images, audio, web clips, you name it) - Collections: Group things naturally, not by force - Combinations: Mix and match any way you want - Linking: Connect ideas at any level, just like your brain does. Memotron is designed to adapt to your unique way of thinking and working. Whether you're: - A student connecting concepts across subjects - A researcher building a knowledge base - A creator collecting inspiration - A professional managing projects and ideas - A curious mind exploring new topics - Or simply someone who wants to make sense of their digital world. The beauty of Memotron is that it grows with you. Start with simple note-taking and naturally evolve into deeper knowledge management. Use as much or as little of its capabilities as you need. We'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences. How do you manage your digital memory? What challenges do you face? Let's chat in the comments! Thanks for reading, Team 21n
