Hello! I'm Peter, the Founder and CEO of Polywork. We are on a mission to help the next generation of professionals build their brand, connect with others and make side income.
Part of our product enables people to create a personal website to be the home for their professional identity online. However, we kept hearing just how long and laborious setting up a personal website was. The overwhelming consensus was that all of us have tried to set up a personal/portfolio website over the last few years but they usually end up abandoned as no one has the time anymore. ‘I’ve been meaning to get one but haven’t got around to it’ was the common response.
So we went to work. We posed the question, ‘Could we leverage AI to generate an entire personal website with a person’s real content, from simply pasting in their LinkedIn profile? Well, we did it.
Here's how it works:
1. Head here: www.polywork.com/ai
2. Simply paste in your LinkedIn URL
3. Choose a template you love
...and let our AI do the rest.
You can check out some amazing websites created already here:

@multiplay3r That seems a really great solution well done! However while testing it didn't generated me a website. maybe it's a bug. anyway, cool staff and Congratulations!
Wow, congratulations on the launch! It's fantastic how you've harnessed AI to turn LinkedIn profiles into beautiful personal websites with such ease. Wishing you incredible success with your innovative product! 🚀🌟
Super cool!! I already shared it with some folks who need a quick website refresh for job hunting.
I noticed that it doesn't really populate the web links you have under "Contact info" which typically would be one's portfolio/website, side projects, etc. It seems to be pulling from my "Volunteering" section, and some other links, but not those primary ones. Probably getting confused. Could you look into that? Thanks!
@megaroeny Hey thanks for giving it a try, and bringing that to my attention. We'll definitely take an into what happened there. How did the rest of it work for you?
@david_ciaffoni oh, it is very intuitive, and I love the onboarding process to help make it a bit customized from the start! I was shocked at how many "tags" were available already 😄 I'll have to explore more later to see how far I can take the "editing" process! I wasn't sure how to get to the "Blocks" editing until I went to the Editor tab and scrolled the tabs. Maybe consider highlighting those blocks as the user hovers their mouse over them so they can more easily discover the "Block" editor? I also don't see a way to edit my hero image (just a giant image of my face now lol!)
Yay! Finally Polywork has taken the leap forward into the future. Something very useful for freelancers, individual contributors, creators, and really anyone who’s interested in learning, connecting, and contributing. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the easiest way to build your own website using your LinkedIn profile! It works and best of all, it’s 🆓🚀.
Way to go #Polywork as you’ve restored my faith in what you’re doing in this new world economy. Please keep expanding this idea so that Polywork becomes one of the top places for companies to find talent and for contributors on Polywork to connect and actually earn money for their talents.
Who’s on board the Polywork journey⁉️
@onelocalfamily Thanks so much Randy. Stay tuned, we have our biggest update ever coming later in the year which is a complete rebuild of our discovery engine + ability to earn side income right on Polywork!
@sentry_co thanks André, thanks possibly my fav too but I’m currently rocking the Orb template but also with the black and dark green color scheme.. (www.peter.inc) Matrix vibes 😅
@sentry_co Thats the idea! It was one of the reasons we rebuilt the entire Polywork product from the ground up as we saw a huge long term opportunity for our professional identity graph (all the badges etc) and generative AI..
@multiplay3r Definitely! I think this is just the start. Framer etc is doing similar things. But too generic atm. But you have to start somewhere. The true power comes when you can create non-generic representation on the web. What do you mean by badges?
Great concept, thought the design didnt always match because of low quality photos on my end but its a great way to get started. Your onboarding is also pretty good as you push people to get started without having to sign up which I always appreciate. More feedback in video form here, all the best!
@frank_denbow Totally agree, we expect most people to replace their low res Linkedin profile that we pull in but agree its a good starting place for folks! Thanks for the feedback!
@frank_denbow
Hey Frank, it's one of the engineering team here.
Thanks for the video, it was super informative and great to get some zoomed out perspective of things especially when working day in day out so close to a product.
There are definitely some education pieces we can put in here to reduce confusion. Additionally I agree with your comments about decision paralysis and keeping things simple. Making domain purchase a bit prominent too is also a great call out!
Hoping we can iterate and improve all the points you raised over the coming weeks and months.
I love it, great job team! How does it work if we already had a Polywork account? When logged out, it tells me my email is already used, when logged in, I can't access https://www.polywork.com/ai anymore
@yannick_mthy Hi Yannick! If you're using Gmail, you can try with a variation of your Gmail such as youremail+something@gmail.com so you can test this out. Hope this helps!
Fantastic work, Peter. Just a quick typo to fix -- when I click into a premium template, it's telling me that it costs $96/month instead of $96/yr. Thought you'd want to know. Great work on this concept!
Super interesting, you seem to be pulling info that's not purely the logged out LI Profile view. How are you not getting in trouble with LinkedIn's scraping rules?
