Great illustrations start with Pose! Design a character exactly the way you want it and follow the guidelines to bring it to life with any drawing app.
Hey PH!β¨β¨Iβm surprised and excited to have Pose featured today, thank you @yellingbytes! π±β¨β¨Iβm an illustrator and even though I draw for years, Iβve always struggled with character illustration. So I wanted to create a simple tool that would help people like me with illustrating 2D characters. πΊ
I created Pose so everyone can easily design a character exactly the way they want it. Then they can take the guidelines into any drawing app and paint them to bring their character to life. Pose is a light web app that works in your browser, you can access it from your computer/tablet, and I believe it would make your life easier when it comes to character illustration.β¨β¨
Iβll do my best to answer any questions you might have, looking forward to seeing the illustrations you make! Post it on social media and tag me (@thegalshir) and #madewithpose. βοΈβ¨

Awesome! Really like it and good luck with it! :) .. for my taste itβs too expensive. I understand that you are an independent artist, but I can get affinity designer plus photo (iPad) for that price
This looks incredible! I love the website and the explainer videos too, they do a great job of showcasing the product, very easy to immediately see the use.
The are many posing tools out there but they all feature 3D models that are incredibly complicated to manipulate.
Pose appears to be flexible enough while using a 2D/pseudo-3D model that should be powerful enough to manipulate into any pose, without being time consuming, intimidating or hard to use.
My only concern is that it's a web app which probably means I won't be able to access it without an internet connection if I do buy it... which would suck π
This is exactly what i've been looking for a long time :) I'm not a full time illustrator so my Human anatomy isn't soo good, Always having issue with character poses but now Pose gonna help me a lot, Thank you so much fir this Great Product Gal Shir :)
Thanks @gad_bornstein! The idea actually came from the design world. If UX designers create wireframes at first, why illustrators don't start with guiding wireframes as well? π
Although sketching is a common step in the process, it's usually harder, more challenging, and takes a longer time than the drawing process itself. So I started brainstorming a way to make that step easier so more people could start to illustrate simple characters. I tested and prototyped different ideas until I realized that building an interactive wire-puppet could be the right solution.
This looks great, however I would have preferred it to be a downloadable app so that I don't have to worry about making sure you'll be still around when I need to use it
