Looks interesting! So is this basically an E2E tool? Mind if I ask why are you marketing it toward non-developer? Like the page says "We will let your developers know about the issue".
Hey @adam_zaczek, Thank you. It took me some time to come up with the idea :) Let me know if you need any testing for your website, and we can set up 3-4 tests through in-app chat or a video call. Once you are ready, we will add 20-30 tests and set up your CI/CD pipeline too. It doesn't end there and when something is wrong with your tests we take a look at them.
Hey Product Hunt!
Did it ever happen to you that you saw a bug on a UI? Well, did we all not have? Preflight helps anyone to test their software with a one-time setup - completely code-free.
So anyone can create tests and communicate that with developers to get it fixed even the bug hits the production.
We now detect:
- Console log errors
- Network call errors
- Detect Page error messages (toast message, "Something went wrong" messages)
Let me know if you have any questions.
I'd be happy to help with any of your QA needs.
Congrats on the launch! Talk about a good intro. Any plans on a CLI config where you can define tests with html element ids in the code and json files? It would also be dope if you could live-feed testing (I remember using selenium in the past for UI testing) rather than just screenshots (though they are incredibly clear) and show that vid. Good luck!
Thank you @sach_r35! We do have an npm CLI to run the tests but I don't follow on html element ids with CLI. We do show screenshots in real-time and provide a video at the end of the tests.
Hey @sozin_saphire, Let me know if you need any help setting up your tests. It's hard to setup tests for the first time. I help you set up your first 3-4 tests and if you commit we will set up all your tests for you
