@nuno_ms_reis Thanks Nuno, investors are a big portion of the subscriber base of PreSeed Now and they were among the people asking for this.
I really like the idea, but I do have a few questions:
- Will you add other jurisdictions, mainly EU?
- How does the decision process which Startup will be featured work?
- Do you exclude any verticals from being featured?

- We want to nail down the product in the UK before we look at expanding. EU (or part of it!) would be a logical next step though
- Similar filters that an early-stage investor would use, with a slightly stronger skew towards 'is it interesting' as we have to be picky and keep subscribers interested. I've been a tech journalist for 15 years and deeply immersed in the startup world so I use that experience to help assess who to include.
- We're broadly B2B and deep tech. Straight B2C models are the only thing we blanket exclude.
This is a cool tool for VCs and Angel Investors. So this is limited to only UK headquartered startups or startups that have nexus in UK (but may be headquartered in the US)?
Great idea! Also interested whether you plan to do this for other countries/regions in the future. Then I would surely use it for at least central Europe.
It is one thing to find high-potential startups but also keeping track of their progress makes this such an interesting package! Well done
@daniel_wiesenhutter Thanks Daniel, I can certainly see how it could be useful in central Europe! We're currently nailing down the model in the UK before we look at any expansion.
This looks nice, but where do you get the startups from?
