π Product Hunt friends, I am so excited for this moment!
π This is the third time we are releasing a Future of Product Management Report, and we wanted it to be extra special.
π₯ Not only did we survey 5,000 Product Managers worldwide, we also pulled together a working group of Silicon Valley Product Leaders to help put our findings in context.

π THANK YOU for supporting and helping to tell the story of Product Management - Iβm so excited to hear what you think.
It was such an amazing experience to discuss the current and future trends with fellow Product Leaders and Product School. Open discussion of what we are all seeing in the market, complemented with data from the Product School surveys make this report truly representative of what's happening today in Product.
Thank you to Chantal, Mariate, Roland, Carlos, and the Product School team for making this possible!
It was an honor to work with the group and with @villaumbrosia (and the Product School team). I hope this is useful for all PMs - aspiring, growing, thriving and flourishing.
What an honor to work with Carlos, Chantal, Mariate, Roland and the extended Product School family on this.
Humbled to work with great Product Leaders across amazing backgrounds and companies, including some from the Product Manifesto working group.
Was amazing to share what we see across our experiences, backed by data and market research, allowing us to dissect what's true for many and unique for some. The future of Product is bright!
Super excited to have this finally hit the web - it was great working with such an amazing group of collaborators on this report. If you're a PM leader this is a must read.
Overall this was a really engaging report and the Product School team did an amazing job, so kudos π
Below I've included a few points that I think need improvement (-), were interesting or well done (+), and a suggestion for the next report (i):
- The link to download the PDF just opened it up in a separate tab rather than sending it to my email. I believe this is a bug, but correct me if I'm wrong
- The paragraph font sizes seem a touch too small
+ You surveyed someone from Antarctica?? That is so cool!
- Headings and subheadings seem a bit lengthy in the beginning. Would rather read something short and sweet especially since this is a decently in-depth report
+ Beautiful visualizations throughout the entire report π
i Try out DocSend for the next report. It allows you to see a bunch of different metrics like read time per page, number of visits, country of origin, etc. for PDFs that Product School might find useful! We use it for our pitch decks and love it
- Some of the pages have a decent amount of blank space. Could this be better utilized?
i.e. pages 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 16, 18, etc.
+ LOVE the "Next Steps" suggestions on page 46. Such a solid CTA
You all did an amazing job with this and should be proud! Excited to read the next one :)
So excited to see this Report finally launching in the Product Community after 7 months of steady research and progress! HUGE congratulations to all of the Makers involved. Time to settle in with a cup of tea and do my morning reading!!
