@villaumbrosia This is awesome! I'm always looking for resources to expand my knowledge on product, coming from a more technical background :) I signed up for Ship it while I was at it, looks like some great reading - I'm going to use this to help steer some decisions on how I build my side project - Thanks to all the team who contributed to this!
@geordi_dearns1 thank you, Geordi! We're glad our content has been helpful so far!! Let us know what you think after you finish reading Product Mindset — 🙌
@villaumbrosia Link keeps pointing to Product Book! 4th time running. Could you please repair the link in the email so it's pointing to the new ebook? Many thanks
hey, @villaumbrosia! The nice book again. You guys create really good content for PMs and product-related professionals - thank you! btw, tried to connect you with you via twitter @roman_eaton, hope to ask some questions about your previous books, anyway
Thank you for sharing these awesome insights! I love that Product School's books are always true-to-life, pulling from real product people working at tech companies that are defining the future of Product Management.
I feel that there has never been quite enough focus on the psychology that goes into identifying solutions for users. Product Mindset does that and way way waaaay more! Super insightful read.
@alexko Thanks Alex, we want to create valuable resources for everyone, no matter what language you speak. Luckily, we will be able to offer it in more languages soon. Let me know what you think of the content! 💥
Great content! Again! I’ll be happy if you suggest content about Product Manager’s role in B2B projects where the client has a product management team (marketers), needs only developing the product using his/her vision and don’t like if someone else to his customers (b2b) because of sensitive information. Even in this situation I tried to use any possibility to talk to clients customers but want to hear how othe Product managers deal with this.
Thanks in advance
Pros:
Short texts - for 1-3 min read. Useful
Examples (what is good and bad) and how to
Good illustrations
Cons:
More formats (mobi/ePub). Right now I’m reading on my smartphone when my wife is sleeping :)) and it’s a little bit hard.
🚨I just received an email asking me to upvote their Product Hunt in exchange for a free book!? Just a reminder @villaumbrosia, here are the rules of Product Hunt: https://help.producthunt.com/pos...
@stephane_dussart1 Hey Stéphane, Thanks for the message, but we are just really saying that if you like it, upvote it! Of course, we're not going to ask people to rate something they haven't even read. We hope that you enjoy the book!
@villaumbrosia@stephane_dussart1 Hey Stéphane! I find it a little suspicious that you have 0 followers and are following 0 people, while at the same time, your only upvote is on a product that also launched today... which is also where you work...
I also received the email and it said nothing about upvoting in return for a free book. Please keep your comments truthful and respectful so people who can benefit from this book aren't turned off :)
I have the same issue. Multiple times, even using the link @villaumbrosia just provided here. I have trie dthe form at https://www.productschool.com/pr..., and that triggers an email titled "Your FREE copy of The Product Book," which contains a link that says "Click here to download The Product Book," which in turn indeed downloads a PDF of The Product Book instead of the Product Mindset.
This has something to do with cookies or browser chache (or some other data retention vehicle). I successfully got the correct download email by going to the same link as above using incognito mode on my browser.
Hi all, For some reason, I keep dl'ing Product Book instead of this Product Mindset when using the website link (https://www.productschool.com/pr...). Anyone could send me its PDF dl URL? Thanks in advance! :)
