Thanks @kevin for hunting Pulse! Hi PH users, we're excited to announce Pulse on Product Hunt. Status has not evolved since the days of ICQ and with tools like Slack, Teams, and Google Workspace, we are getting bombarded with more messages than ever. Pulse reinvents status into what it should be in 2022! You are in control. You decide when you want to collaborate, when you want to share, when you want to focus, and more. Teams and individuals using Pulse are reporting more happiness, fewer interruptions, and more empathy. It is super configurable for your team or your needs and completely changes the experience. You want to appear always active, you can configure that. You want to snooze your Slack notifications when you’re in meetings, you can do that too. You want more focus time, you can set up rules. You want work hour boundaries, go right ahead. Let us know how you use it. We are starting with Slack but we’re going to bring it to all communication platforms. We want to own status everywhere! We also built APIs with Pulse so you can query your own status and embed into apps. We have some devs who will hopefully reveal their projects soon! Oh, and a #humblebrag, Pulse is so effective at improving things like focus time, we were selected as one of the winners for Slack’s 2022 Slacakthon (Hackathon). Some examples of what Pulse can do (automatically!): ⚡ Focused (automatically detected) 🐕 Walking Spot (Calendar Rule) 📥 Organizing tasks (Asana, Jira, Trello. etc.) ✉️ In email (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) 📈 In stats (Google Analytics), plus dozens more 🏢 Working at the office today (place + radius) ☎️ In a meeting with Sarah 📝 Editing Notion Doc “Q2 Budget” ⭐ On Holiday (based on local holidays and PTO) 🌙 Working after hours (for empathy) 🕥 Leaving soon & expected back times (based on set work hours) 📊 Edited Google Spreadsheet “March Numbers”

Congrats on launch! If Slack is an office, Pulse can be the new contextual view. Kudos to the iterations beyond green dots on Slack to help coworkers feel closer together.

Looks great! I'm hoping to test it out soon as it seems to be fit more of my needs. My organisation (200+ people) has been using Clockwise. I tried to install Pulse but my IT Compliance team has asked me to check if Pulse is SOC 2 compliant, as we'd like to be sure of how Pulse will protect our organisation's data (i.e. Slack, Gmail) when Pulse integrate with us. May I know Pulse is SOC 2 compliant?

@seanyeoh Just replied to your email! We are working towards this but have passed a number of security reviews that are SOC-like by our larger customers. We usually complete templates or other as part of this process (and provide access to our various security documents).

Very nifty product. Congratulations @mobileraj on the launch. Big step towards improving how we communicate in an increasingly remote work environment
