I like the idea a lot, and very reasonably priced. I do wish it was bluetooth. Thought of building something similar once using a hacked Amazon Dash button.
Love the idea, but FYI your website has a security certificate issue and Chrome immediately returns a privacy error.
I did this with a USB Red Button off of Thinkgeek a few years ago. Its pretty fun. I couldn't find the button on Thinkgeek anymore though. Good idea to bring this back.

When I was making my site, I kept having to deploy it with a command in my shell. I thought what if I could deploy my entire site with just pushing one big button. So I made Push to Deploy. It’s a programmable USB button which deploys your startup, app, site (or rocket ship) when you hit it.
It's available for pre-order now and will be shipped by June 2017.
You can also program it to your own actions like:
- Run a Shell script
- Run git status
- Add a Sublime shortcut or any other software shortcut
- Refresh your inbox
@dendisuhubdy Perhaps apple with ripoff this idea and charge an additional $99 for the deploy bar option on the next macbookpro.
Does this involve AR, VR, or Machine Learning? Why can't you push the button virtually in an Oculus? Why can't you use AR in your mobile phone to see a button that isn't there and push it? Why can't your computer learn when you want to deploy and then do it for you?
Otherwise, nobody is ever going to invest in this, these days. :)
Cool little idea. V2 needs to have a safe cap like the one from a rocket launch. :)
