Is this compatible with semantic UI?
Sudhir Subramanian
@goldstrom At the moment we have full support for MUI. Other component libraries like semantic UI are not directly supported at the moment but are in our roadmap to implement. That said, if you have already built atoms using Semantic UI, you can still use Quest for your pages while leveraging the Semantic UI atoms. Thanks!

Hi Product Hunt Community - we’re excited to share with you the new Quest Components - a better way for product development teams to build frontend for their product and business applications. We built this to solve our own needs: we build Quest with Quest. And based on the feedback from early adopters, we have been updating it over the past few months. We’d love for you to try it out, let us know what you think and how we can make it better. Some key highlights: ✅ Generates clean React.js code components from your Figma designs. ✅ Built-in support for Material UI. Or you can build your own component library if you want. ✅ Pixel-perfect presentation layer generated automatically from your design. ✅ Responsive UI with automated breakpoints for multi-screen experiences based on your designs. ✅ Set up props & bindings easily to interface with your backends. ✅ Separation of concerns between presentation and business logic, so your designers and developers can iterate quickly and independently. ✅ Code Components that are extendable and can be added to your existing applications - so you can build on what you already have. ✅ Export code and drive it through your existing CI/CD pipeline - with built-in support for Next.js and Create React App. Our goal is to help you build faster without compromising on code quality or ability to customize/extend. We believe this will help companies around the world scale their dev efforts easily. We want to welcome you to the new way of building frontend. Let us know what you think! Quest Team

@npobbathi developing a React component is a great idea, Congratulations !

@npobbathi Great pitch! Generating React components out of Figma designs can be a time-consuming process but Quest makes it sound so easy. This is indeed a valuable tool. Good luck and congrats on the launch!

@alcaan Thanks Al. Yes, it is a pain point we experienced first-hand, and we ourselves see the benefit of a tool like Quest. Would love for you to try it out.

There's always been a major need to be able to go from design platform to responsive website build at a click of a button. Quest does this amazingly well with their design platform plugins! Highly recommend for those looking to make their design to dev process easier.
Nagesh Pobbathi
@brand0ngr0ce Thank you Brandon. Appreciate your support.
Great launch 🚀! I love the idea.

@colin_barry Thanks Colin
Frankie Margotta
So am I able to get working MUI components from Figma? How does that work?
Nagesh Pobbathi
@frankiemargotta Yes! You simply export your figma components to Quest. And if you used MUI kit to build your design, Quest will automatically generate react components with MUI behavior. You can also build your own custom components and library using Quest.
Andrew Jasper
@frankiemargotta Basically you just copy and paste the MUI components into your Figma file and when you export them into Quest you'll see them working. For instance if you copy and paste a button you'll be able to rollover it and see the animated hover state. Or if you copy and paste a text field, you'll be able to see the hover and focus states and even type into it and see exactly how it will behave in your product because Quest is rendering your design as React.
Bob Martin
Nice website! Looks like you made the site with it too?
Nagesh Pobbathi
@bob_martin Yes we did. And it took all of 2 days to build it using Quest (not counting the time to design).
