I miss conversational chatbots so match! Iโm glad I stumbled upon Emerson today.
$29,99 / month seems a bit expensive though for what boils down to entertaining conversations with a bot, donโt you think?
I see you have a more affordable plan at $9,99 / month with fewer credits, but with that plan we can only chat with Emerson in English. Why only English out of all the languages it speaks?
How about keeping the one language limit in the cheaper plan, but letting us choose whichever language we want? :) THEN it would be a valuable investment for foreign language learners: practice every day by chatting with a non-judgmental bot that wonโt judge you!

@peppereddirt Thanks for your suggestion, we've considered a number of pricing strategies along the way, including this one for users who have got their own API key. But at this point, Emerson uses several different models and modules so cost is not only associated with the OpenAI API.

Been really looking for an AI to teach me a new language, is this possible with Emerson?
@berthakgokong Yes, for sure! If you buy Unlimited subscription, you will be able to talk (by writing messages or by voice&audio) in one of the many supported languages (๐ฌ๐ง ๐ช๐ธ ๐ฏ๐ต ๐ซ๐ท ๐จ๐ณ ๐ฎ๐น and more)
