Quicko is the answer to anyone who is wondering "what if tax filing was streamlined and automated?". There is a lot to be done to achieve 100% automation but Quicko is a great start. Kudos to the entire team.

Been using this for quite sometime - love the clean interface - love the planning feature - love the request call feature when in doubt - love the crowdsourced QnA page One request would be to add more resources to educate consumers about the hidden pitfalls in Indian tax regime.

I used to file my return for the AY2020-21 and applied for the Pro membership. Tool is really good however for Tax planning for current financial year, lot of work required. Here is feedback: 1) In current year financial tax planning, even with PRO membership, no option provided to import the trade in Quicko template from other brokerage firms, except 3 more listed apart from Zerodha. In absence of this possibility, you can't import your gains to calculate the advance tax appropriately. Hence defeating the purpose of PRO membership for most of the persons, if they are dealing with many brokerage apart from listed four integrated brokerage firms 2) In current year tax planning, member is not allowed to add any other business/professional income so you can't plan/visualize your entire tax outgo. Basically, for PRO members, entire feature/platform must be available to add the figures/credits/deductions inline with current applicable IT rules as it's available for actual filing. This approach will help to start mock preparation by the members to prepare for tax payments / possibility of savings / tax outgo with progression of the year and plan it perfectly as MOTTO of Quicko for "Put your taxes in Autopilot"
