The GPT-3 integration in a messaging app is brilliant and (criminally) underused by others. Really impressed by how slick it all is.
@ziding for now only on naming team channels. But IMHO every time a user is being ask to name something, or to re-explain something, stuff like GPT-3 could have a more prominent role. I believe this is the first app that integrates GPT-3 as a side functionality.

We’re excited to launch Quill. We love messaging. It’s our favorite way of working together — but not if it’s overwhelming and disorganized. We grew exhausted having to skim thousands of messages every day to keep up, so we built a way to chat that’s even better than how we already communicate in person. A more deliberate way to chat. That’s what Quill is all about.
Quill gives you a single feed for all your conversations. you can require threading for channels where you need some structure, roll up any set of messages into a thread, move messages, reply directly, start video chats, and — my favorite feature — start a new conversation with someone over SMS, and much more. We’ve still got a lot left to build — and we’d love to hear what you think.
(and, if you have feature request you can chat with the team in the app itself! just click `Send feedback…` and it’ll open up a thread with the entire Quill team!)

I've been using Quill and it's super excited to see it launch. It's already been a great experience and I love the focus on productivity as opposed to engagement. I'm excited to see all the cool polish and features you'll come up with to help facilitate productive team chats!
EDIT: Also, as an Android & Linux user, thank you so much for building native feeling experiences for these platforms on launch.
Loved Quill. We have a few custom integrations made for Slack that's why can't switch right away. But hopeful to do a switch soon.
